Cavoli's Pizza Shop — Restaurant in Westlake

An honest review about Cavoli’s pizza shop. We walked in and sat down right away. Service was good. Secondly, it was about 78° in there and I literally was sweating the whole time I ate my meal! Our salads were outstanding but as far as the Pizza, I have had better frozen pizza than what came out of the kitchen. With that being said, when she brought it to the table, the pizza looked amazing. The top was crispy. It looked like a high-end pizza that you would expect for 20 something dollars a pizza, but the bottom was soft almost to the point you could pinch it together with your fingers, so I’m not sure what’s going on with their ovens. Frankly, it just didn’t have a lot of taste itself between the sauce and crust. The flavor you got was from the toppings that were added. I had an amazing experience at Cavoli's! I ordered the Truffle Fig Pizza, and it was absolutely delicious so flavorful and perfectly balanced. We even had some leftover, and it was just as good the next day. The dough is the perfect mix of crunch and fluff, and you can really tell it’s homemade with fresh herbs mixed right into the dough, which not only adds incredible flavor but also looks beautiful.

I also enjoyed a Spicy Margarita, which was bright and perfectly balanced. Their cocktails are just as impressive as the food, made with high-quality, vibrant ingredients.

This spot is such a little gem! Inside is well done, with a quaint Sicilian vibe. The cocktails and wine selection are incredible. The food is top tier. Do not skip out on the wings, they're some of the best in the area with such a unique flavor and fall right off the bone. We got the spicy alla vodka pizza and added Ricotta and it was some of the best pizza in Cleveland. A slightly thicker crust, cleveland style. much thinner than detroit style but thicker than NY style. Great flavor in the sauce and every topping had a high level of attention to detail.
