Awful from start to finish. We used to love to go to this place especially for the salads, call in on the way home from work to pick them up for our carry out dinner. I can guarantee after this event we will NEVER patronage this business again and I’m pretty confident the 28 other people that were with us will not either. The event coordinator is unorganized, unprofessional, and incredibly rude. All I heard about when I COULD reach her was her other jobs, responsibilities and how busy she was with other parties. I don’t care about ANY of that just our party. It was quite clear no one in that building cared about us, our guests or our event. But they sure took the money and commission. We had 28 – 30 people and one server. How is that right? We should have had at MINIMUM two servers. I think it was intentional so our guests would have to go to the bar themselves so we would not meet our minimum required for the room. Although our server was pleasant to me, I was discouraged to hear that the one bright spot of this catastrophe, was rude to our guests. When the wrong food order was delivered, instead of being apologetic she challenged if our guests were sure they ordered what they said they had ordered! WHAT? I was embarrassed that the restaurant didn’t just make it right. But why would they when they would not even admit their event planner dropped the ball on our event and continuously made excuses for her because she had other events. Again, don’t care. We should have been made to feel like our event was the most important and that we were valued. This awful representative of Westlake Paninis couldn’t even be professional enough to come to me and thank us for our business, welcome us when we arrived. Differences aside, be a professional. Her actions and the lack of action by management and ownership speaks volumes on the longevity of this business. The event planner should not be in a customer service position. I could care less how many successful events she may have handled I care about my event that was special to us and she did NOTHING to make it special; the only thing memorable about it was how awful it was. I detailed how the room was to be set up and she couldn’t even have that completed correctly. And for the owner to come to me and my husband and tell us that he thinks she does a great job on other events but was overwhelmed, didn’t ask for help and admittedly screwed us over.. SO WHAT! She still gets commission and we have 28 people walking away shaking their heads questioning our judgement on why we would ever pick a venue that lacks so much in everything, customer service, quality, etc. We are asking ourselves the same question. On the wall it shows the 9th inning bases loaded but we already are winning 10 to 6 but they decided to keep playing anyways. The AT&T building literally moved blocks over and is now on the right side of center field. The away team dugout is full in blue uniforms despite them being in the outfield in white uniforms. The right side says 2 outs in first with "Loney" up to bat who clearly was the best player in the lineup for the 2015-2016 indians. There are 6 umps in this non-playoff game but it is also october so not sure on that. Anyways, Lindor is up to bat says scoreboard in left but lindor is also on third base. The wind is only blowing on the US flag in center and no where else. Gametime is at 8:07 but its 8:20 on clock below home run porch so very very short game and it is also 11:00AM on an April morning says the main scoreboard for this October game. Although the pitch is being thrown, lindor is not facing the right way at third and is not ready at all, silly lindor. The guy on first looks like hes ready to field the ball instead of running and the outfield is clearly not expecting the pitcher to have already thrown the ball. The scoreboard is the old one that got replaced in 2015 so why we have Lindor in postseason against Boston in a year we didnt make playoffs is only Tito's guess. The temperature is 69 out but the scoreboard above that temperature, it is 48 degrees. Finally, the indians are also the team on defense because we all know- only the indians can beat the indians in a already winning 2-out bottom of 9th situation. So yeah good food. Read moreThe Management at the Westlake location doesn’t care about the customer service. Our waitress, Ashlei, was great. Unfortunately, it took over an hour to have a salad order prepared and after one hour we decided we didn’t want it. They had already charged my credit card so I will be looking at my credit card statement to dispute this. Also, the special was a bucket of Surfsides for $30.00 dollars and they charged me $35.00 for each. The manager didn’t have the courtesy of even coming over to our table to apologize or have a conversation. I did tip Ashlei in cash as she deserved it but the fact that management didn’t care enough to come and talk to us was totally unacceptable. The folks next to us also had an order that was not correct so they were unhappy. I don’t know what is going on at this location but the management doesn’t seem to care about Anything customer service wise at this location. I will NEVER go back to this location as they don’t deserve anyone’s business at this point. I feel bad for the wait staff as they are the ones who have to deal with the customers since the management team can’t be bothered. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
