DK CUISINE — Restaurant in Westminster

There are a few things to consider in my review. Food is good. Price is fair. Servers however are interesting. I called in for my take out order, and when I came in to pay and pick up my food. I was about to swipe my card on the monitor, but the lady helping me with me order, instead asks for my credit card so she can manually swipe on her side instead. I thought it was weird when the monitor is facing me and I could've done it myself. But I didn't question it and gave her my card. When the transaction is completed, she gave me my receipt, I signed, and she gave me my food order. I left. Until 30 mins later when I am doing my errands, I realized she never gave me my credit card back(?) Keep in mind, I called in for my order so my number should already be in the system call log. They never reached out to me. The second I realized they withheld my credit card, I locked my card and called the restaurant. I called and asked if I left my credit card there, and the lady on the other end pretended like she didn't understand me and said they are open for take out orders. I repeated myself again, and all she said was "of course." I came back immediately to pick it up and there is 3-4 people crowding around the register and my credit card. What a weird experience. This whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I am never coming back. Vibes -15/10...

Today 9/3/23 After 1 year, the experience was so much better, friendly n sweet staff especially the young smiley gentleman, he opened the door for me. Bun rieu cua dong with oc was legit like always except the noodles were all broken up n rau thơm was very lil, missing tía tô n others

1 year ago The last 3 times were pleasant n came back today to support them again but the food n cs were extremely disappointing. Mien ga was normal n banh canh cua had a bad pork aroma so we ordered another dish n the rice was dry/hard like it's been left outside for hours but the unhappy young man didn't show any concern and not even a smile nor thank you when we paid, he should've taken a day off. Hopefully someone will address this issue before they'll have to...
