Hype Tea Boba & Sandwiches — Restaurant in Westminster

I always get hyped to get some boba.

After a long day at a Renaissance Festival, we were feeling drained and needing a pick me up. Sammy mentioned there was a boba place around the corner from where she lived and we all quickly said yes to going there.

We rolled in at dinner time and it wasn’t too busy. The interior was bright and colorful with a fun and funky interior. One wall was covered in what looked like manga page prints. Not sure if these were just printed off the internet but it made my heart happy to see some nerd stuff up on the walls, even if I am not a fan of Demon Slayer.

Everyone ordered there drink and it was my time. I went for the Medium Vietnamese Coffee but the lady behind the counter said she may not have enough to make a full drink. After looking around for a few minutes, she confirmed that she wouldn’t have enough. So, I decided to try the Tiger Milk Tea (Brown Sugar) instead. Once we got our drinks, we chilled for a few minutes before heading to a pool to chill and cool off for the night.

I don’t know exactly what tiger milk is and wasn’t sure if I would like what I ordered but with that first sip, I knew I was in good hands. It took a few sips to adjust to the tiger milk but that drink went down so fast and it was good to the last drop.

Joseph was nice and got us dumpling (bao) . The milk tea was very sweet and the dumpling was fresh. We live up the street, the boba was good, so we want to come back. I like Joseph's style, he seems very friendly and approachable. The inside decor is lively, sharp, comfortable, and stylish. We can't wait until the sandwiches are available soon, but in the meantime they also have a great variety of Asian style snack foods, like Pocky and Asian flavor chips. My partner and I saw this boba tea place a hand full of times and finally decided to stop by. As soon as we entered an instant friendly greeting was said! The place gave a very very unique amazing vibe to it and the worker made it even better!!!
