Absolutely atrocious customer service. On a Monday night we placed an order and received a confirmation email at 7:06pm saying our order would be delivered by 7:36pm. At 11 minutes past the promised delivery time the app still said our order was being made, so we called the store. We were informed that it would be an hour more for delivery due to not enough delivery drivers. When we clarified whether our order was in fact ready she said yes, that it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while already. Not wanting to wait an hour more and let our food continue to cool and get chewy under heat lamps, we asked if we could come pick up our order and be refunded the delivery fee, to which the employee said yes. To be clear, there was never any apology for the false delivery time, the extended wait, or the inconvenience. There was no attempt whatsoever to correct the issue or make things right. When my fiancé got to the store to pick up the order he explained the situation to the employee who refused to even attempt to help him and immediately said her manager would have to handle it. The manager took her time making her way to the counter and when she finally did told my fiancé that she couldn’t locate our order. He reiterated that he had spoken with the store and verified our order was ready before driving over and told them to hold the order. At that point she finally said she’d located our order but that a delivery driver had just left with it. She then refused to refund the delivery fee because the pizza had already left the store, despite my fiancé standing in front of her trying to pick it up himself. Again, she made NO attempt whatsoever to make the situation right or do anything even somewhat resembling customer service. She flat out said there was nothing she would do for him. One more pertinent detail— they were SO busy that they couldn’t deliver our order on time yet there was only one single table being served at the restaurant. Read moreFound this spot a few years back and we had some early luck. The last couple times have really changed our minds and we won't be going back. First incident, ordered for pickup only to wait 25 minutes past the estimated time for the pizza to be ready. No acknowledgment from anyone, they just kept saying "we're working on it." Second, I ordered a delivery and still hadn't received the food 2 hours later. I called to check on it and the very rude employee just kept repeating "your food will be out for delivery soon" and wouldn't give me any sort of estimate. Each time I pressed for some clarity they repeated that line like a robot. When I told them I would just prefer to cancel she said "it will be out for delivery soon" (again) and I simply reiterated I wanted to cancel which resulted in her saying "fine" and hanging up. This latest time we scheduled a pickup time for the food. Upon arriving there are employees in the prep area, not wearing gloves and on their cell phones at food prep tables (there are windows into the kitchen). No one was at the counter so I waited for a minute for someone to come to the front that gave me the impression I had interrupted him. Then they pull my pizza off a counter, not in any heating device, and hand me cold pizza. I ordered it nearly 1.5 hours in advance for a specific time and it was unclear how long it had been sitting. The employee slid the pizzas across the counter without a word and headed back to his conversation in the kitchen. However, upon arriving home it was evident that the pizza was there at least 30 minutes. The cheese had firmed up and the sauce was room temp. I placed a delivery order at noon on 11/18/23 to be delivered at 6:30pm for my husbands birthday party at the pickleball pub (in the same shopping center as Marcos). After I order, pay, etc. 15 min later I get a text that my order was being delivered. I call them and tell them there is a mistake and I made it clear it is to be delivered at 6:30pm. They apologize and tell me it is taken care of.
6:40pm (10min after when it was to be delivered) I am at the pickleball pub, pizza isn’t there and no communication from Marco’s. I call and they tell me it is in the queue and will be there soon. 7:30pm, nothing. I call again they tell me they aren’t sure what happened and are remaking everything (5 pizzas - not quick to remake). I tell them to please walk it over because it is in the same shopping center and we were expecting it 1 hour ago. They say they can do it. 7:50pm I finally get a call it is ready but we have to come and get it. Our time at the pickleball pub was over at 8pm and we had a limo service picking us up at 8pm so we had to walk over EVEN THOUGH I PAID A DELIVERY FEE and scarf the pizza down in 5 min. When we finally got it I asked if I was charged the delivery fee and no one could confirm or deny/check my receipt !!! I should be refunded for the total order after this nightmare!!!
Horrible experience to say the least. The staff (especially those I spoke to after 6:30pm) were truly incompetent. I explained the situation to them and none of them had any remorse. If you are planning to use them for food for a party, celebration, etc. forget it. They will ruin...
