Horrible service, worse attitudes. I've been going here since great western pizza, then lamppost pizza, then Lookers and now Michaels. Filled with lazy waitresses, mediocre food and negative attitudes. Watched the bartender spend 15 minutes helping more and more and more people who want a beer, instead of turn the tv station to a SPORTING EVENT that our table, with TWENTY people, asked for. But there's no tip for turning the tv, so it wasn't important. Then the bartender wants to argue about why she didnt change the station. Its a sports bar, i dont care what your excuse is. Turn on the local sports team when 20 frikkin people ask for it. There are servers that are good here, but you have a 93% chance of not getting one. The wings are tiny with little to no meat. Thy cover them in franks red hot sauce. You want hotter? More sauce. No change in flavor at all. Taco Tuesday tacos are generic and tasteless. Most of the food is bland and tastes microwaved. Lookers ripped off hooters, and still was a much better business. Michaels would be better if they just turned in to a dive bar and stop trying to be a sports bar and restaurant. Your employees can't handle it in any way,...
Read more2 stars is for the crowd, good beer tap selection, and tasty food. To be fair I stick to wings, pizza, and cheese fries, but decent quantity and quality. They do get busy and the waits can be longer, but the wait staff is always pleasant!! The crowd is easy going and the vibe is good for an easy night out. The crowd is what keeps me coming back. I refuse to give 5 stars because the last handful of times I’ve been the drinks were very weak. My Long Island came out clear so I sent it back about two months ago. A few times I settled with my weak drink and then switched to beer. The last time I was frustrated and sent my sugary drink back because it promised a headache, only for Mike, the owner himself, to came out to tell me there is alcohol in my drink and I am making him waste it. After it became confrontational I left to El Torito (within walking distance) where I had surprisingly decent priced beer! I will return because it is central to my home and friends I meet with there, but it won’t be for a while... Also, I have now vowed to only ever order beer...
Read moreI decided to try this spot because the prices on here looked decent, but they need to be updated. My friend and I ordered nachos, the shrimp scampi special, a sundae, and 2 iced teas, and the total came out to $60!
The iced teas were the biggest disappointment. It tasted odd, like there was a chemical residue in the glass or something. Fortunately, they replaced the iced teas with their lemonade which was an improvement.
The sundae wasn't bad, but it just wasn't worth $14. It was mostly whipped cream.
Service was slow. There was only one other table occupied, and they didn't check on us often. We even had to go to the counter to let them know about the odd tasting iced tea. He tried to say that maybe it was because it was unsweetened, but he didn't know that I always order unsweetened iced tea and have been for 10 years. I know when something is off with the tea.
Overall, I went here to give a smaller sports bar a chance, but I should've just gone to...
