Taste of Philly — Restaurant in Westminster

Don't bother with this place and save yourself stress and a headache. Bought 2 hogies. Meat was dry, (and flavorless) and you had to look for the cheese. Wife ate less then a quarter of her sandwich and I hardly touched mine. Called the restaurant to let them know they needed more cheese and seasoning and allow them to replace the sandwiches. The owner didn't want to listen and said he'd refund my money, just bring what's left of the sandwiches and my receipt. I went back to get my refund and the owner reniged on the refund as since 1/4 of wife's sandwich was gone, owner would only refund a portion of the receipt. Then instead of refunding my money back to my card in the restaurant, owner stated he would refund it later in the week. ...

Oh my gosh. So good. Had the Works with some breaded mushrooms. Man... it's what you hope for but almost never get. Lots o' meat, soft bread and it was hot off the grill. If you like cheese steaks you gotta' try them.

Update - September of '25 Went in tonight. Dude behind the counter literally said only one thing to us. Literally. Our total $. Didn't greet us. Didn't ask us what we wanted. Didn't say anything when he brought the food to the table. Didn't say goodbye. Nothing. Just out $ total. Look, I know customer service sucks but if you can't even say hello, you're pretty pathetic. We won't be coming back. Oh, & it was completely empty at dinnertime. Wonder...

Check your order before you leave!!! I ordered a phili steak, and I have no idea what it was, but it wasn't what I ordered. The receipt was on the bag, and it was right, but not the food. I did not discover this for 30 minutes until I got where I was driving. Talk about a real letdown and to pay $20 for a meal that you're not going to eat. The inside of the place is definitely a hole in the wall and I felt like I needed to wash my hands after being in there as well. Too bad I could not get the...
