Taty's Specialty Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Westminster

Whether you’re looking for coffee, tea, or snacks, Taty’s has it covered! I’ve been wanting to try this spot ever since I’ve seen their posts on social media. Upon entering the shop, I see that it’s quite spacious - lots of clean tables which makes it a good spot for studying or even catching up with friends. I love that they’ve beautifully decorated the inside for the holidays! They have a pretty extensive menu of drinks and snacks so there’s definitely something for everyone here. I came for the stuffed breadsticks, but left pretty pleased with my drinks AND breadsticks. The prices are reasonable and better than most boba shops in the area! The workers here are very knowledgeable about the drinks and gave out recommendations when I wanted to adjust the sweetness levels of my drinks. Definitely hit this spot up if you haven’t done so yet!

|| D R I N K S / S N A C K S || Stuffed Breadsticks ($7.00) - It comes with 3 stuffed breadsticks and one of them was bbq pork, and the other two were stuffed with pork sung and pate. I thought I’d love the BBQ pork the most but turns out the pork sung with the pate ended up being my favorite. Who would have known both would work out so well together?! It comes with hot sauce, not ketchup, as I originally thought so watch out for that spicy kick!

Flamingo Jasmine Milk Tea ($6.00) - Originally attracted by its vibrant pink color, I ended up really liking this drink a lot. It’s jasmine tea infused with milk and dragonfruit. I’ve never really had dragonfruit with something milky before so this was a real nice treat! I got it with 75% sweetness and it was perfect! I recommend this if you’re looking for something light and refreshing with some level of caffeine!

Matcha Strawberry ($6.25) - I was recommended by the barista to keep the sweetness level as is and I’m glad I did so, because it was the right amount of sweetness. I feel like the ratio of the matcha, milk and strawberry was a lot better here compared to other spots. Some spots put way too much strawberry or milk so you don’t taste the matcha.

Egg Coffee ($5.75) - This was also recommended to keep at its original sweetness level. I was really surprised how even at the full sweetness level, it wasn’t overbearingly sweet. I have a favorite spot to grab egg coffee but I always have to adjust the sweetness level because I feel like I’m going to get diabetes after drinking it, but here,...

This is our first time at Taty’s… I love that I was greeted with the warmest welcome. V the owner was AMAZING. I would come here for the customer service alone. She took our orders right away and the barista got right to work, the drinks took less then 5min to come out which was crazy! I love to see the great teamwork they exhibited. You can order at the counter with an employee or use their ordering tablets whichever is more convenient. The quality of the matcha is exceptional you can tell by the color, texture, and earthy taste. Taty’s house made custards and purées are so fresh. The banana matcha latte along with the toffee bits really makes the drink special and separates it from other tea establishments that are on the banana matcha latte wave. The portion is definitely more than other matcha places our total came out to $14 so I’d say we got a bang for our buck. I’m also not a sweet tooth so I chose 75% on the banana matcha and my husband chose 50% on the double matcha. The ambiance is nice and clean filled with plants and fresh air and relaxing music. It is also spacious enough to either be studious and productive or a good meet up spot to catch up on some family drama or friend group tea with tea on the side. This place is for all ages but please don’t ruin the vibe if you have out of control kids lol. Parking was open and available and had handicap parking spots available as well. Drove 40 minutes here after liking it my first time. I ordered a milk tea (No Topping), with ube foam this time (50%, less ice). First time, they accidentally made the coffee with ube so they asked me to wait while the remake it, Okay, second time, they gave me a milk tea with ube foam and boba. I didn't ask for boba because it has too much sugar and I don't like boba. Now third time, they finally gave me the right drink. But it was too sweet for being 50%. Tasted predominantly like brown sugar, and no distinct tea flavor. I of course didn't want to go back again and ask for an adjustment after waiting for over 20 minutes. :( Would've appreciated it if there was some apology given but the workers were very short with me.

EDIT: I asked them if I could get another drink instead because it was too sweet. They said because I already tasted it they can't do anything about it...? I will attach how much I drank in my photos. I'm usually completely fine with 50% sugar at other drink places but this one was just way too sweet. Anyways, If I don't taste it how am I supposed to know what it tastes like/if I like it? Never encountered this kind of service before.

Pros: parking is great and located in a huge lot with other stores. The ambiance is great. Some studying, some chatting and just enjoying their time. There are ample seating, wifi, and medium noise level despite the full house. I would not...
