This McDonald location has improved dramatically since last year!! I stopped going to this location a few months ago because of lackluster treatment during the late evenings after attending a weekly function and during the afternoon lunch rush. I've been taking advantage of many of the specials for lunch and instead of going to this location which is a 3 miles from my home, I drove 7 miles to a farther location. I feel if I'm spending my HARD earned money, I don't care if I'm just 1 customer among millions maybe billions, you will treat me with dignity. I should not feel rushed when making my selection, I should not put up with a language barrier and as a result have my order prepared wrong, I should not have to ask for a napkin...these are some of the traits displayed a year or so ago and these things made me stop going and go to the location on Plainfield where I felt I had a better experience. McDonalds is not cheap and you cheapen the brand when you don't care about customer service. During this pandemic and working from home while taking advantage of many of the daily deals, I found myself having McDonalds for lunch more than desired but a nice option for lunch for the economical price. While primarily going to the location on Plainfield I found myself a couple times strapped for time, so I had to go to 63rd location in Westmont Il because it was the closes. Gritting my teeth and preparing myself for the expected lackluster treatment, I was pleasantly surprised!! Great customer service, didn't feel rushed to place my order, order was correct the first time, wasn't asked to wait in a holding spot....yeah i must say, a very very pleasant couple of experiences. I ordered breakfast online and when I went to pick it up 25 mins later, they had thrown it away. They assured me I’d be refunded on my card but I never did. To make matters worse, the lady made it seem like it was my fault for ordering breakfast close to breakfast end and then taking too long to pick it up. Excuse me? First of all, what are the warmers for? Second of all, then the app shouldn’t let you pay for stuff you can’t buy. Why the hell are you blaming me?
I went another time to pick up an online order and they made me wait in stall 2. They never came out and wouldn’t even acknowledge me even when I was making eye contact to see if they would tell me what’s up with my order! Finally, after 20 minutes, I go in and they had the food there waiting the whole time. Wasted 20 minutes for nothing.
Same thing happened as in number 2. Are people at this location that distracted?! This location really needs to get it together, especially with their customer service. Why the hell are you blaming me for buying stuff on your dumb app, not refunding me, and then making me wait because you were too lazy to bring my food out/forgot...

I don't know why I keep giving it a chance but they continually failed to offer you a medium fry that is anywhere near the $3 they want for it because it's always freaking cold and half full. I can't leave this one alone, I just went through and got two ice cream cones and it was $6.11. How is an ice cream cone $3 at McDonald's that's the same price as a quart of ice cream at the grocery store. This location half the time makes craptastic fries, and is straight up gouging level prices on a freaking ice cream cone.
