Taqueria Ranchito — Restaurant in Westmont

So, after many times to visit this place and always been happy with the food and service, I came to realize that, every time there's a chance, they charged me at least twice for my visit. Last time I visited, it was weird that, I was told one of my cards didn't work, I ended up using a different card, but, I got suspicious and check my accounts and yes, I was charged twice for the same amount, then, going back on my purchases, I noticed it is not the first time. Yes, I always believed they were honest and really the machine malfunction but, come on, more than times I have counted. I would just say, be suspicious if their machine " tells you you don't have enough funds " i knew i had them....

Stopped here on a whim, had never been in before. Ordered the Chile Rellanos and chips & salsa. Everything was very tasty. I thought the salsa was a little on the thin side, but the taste was excellent, so no complaints there! Would have liked a slightly larger serving of rice and beans on my to-go order, but otherwise the food was great. Also like the fact that it is located in a small strip mall that has several other Mexican stores including a Mexican bakery (great flan and amazing chocolate dulce de leche), a Mexican ice cream shop, and Mexican grocery/butcher shop. Makes for lots of great options when you are having serious Mexican...

This isn't a review of the food because I didn't want to order after seeing customers and employees inside without masks. I was here a year ago and decided to revisit/ support more local businesses. Would have loved to put in a big order for the fam but it doesn't seem like they are taking COVID precautions very seriously. A diner walked out without a mask and about six maskless guys (not sure diners or employees) were seated around a table seemingly amused if I dared to enter.
