China Wok — Restaurant in Westover

The food taste good they just have been cutting back on the amount of meat that they give you, I literally ordered a shrimp entree and got a total of 5 shrimp 10 snow pea pods and the rest was lobster sauce which is supposed to be the coating on the stuff but they just gave me an entire portion of sauce with nothing in it but the five shrimp in 10 snow pea pods ridiculous, I opened up my chicken hunan and there was no sauce and very little chicken, am extremely disappointed with this, I thought maybe it was just one incident, 😞 but this is not the first time I have been dissatisfied with my order but this is the last time we'll be disappointed, I will not be ordering from here anymore. This was my favorite Chinese restaurant, they used to give you your money's worth and now you're lucky to get what you pay for. Not to mention that the Eggrolls literally have no filler in them it's all wrap and no cabbage if you're going to short people on the cabbage in the egg rolls then something is...

WORSE PLACE EVER!!!!! Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! Order my food, sweet n sour chicken and wontons for my lunch. Waited for it to be delivered, called after 30 mins, then finally got it an HOUR after I ordered it! Called them back again saying that I just got the food an hour later and thought it was horrible service. The lady then told me that traffic was bad, which is what she had said earlier, ok, I get traffic in this town is bad, but it isn't like they were driving 50 miles to bring it to me, across the bridge and to the loop, seriously. I told her my kids go to school in Westover and it may take my 20 mins to get to my office on a bad day...Just horrible, and I also made it clear I wouldn't be back and that I would be writing a review on them. Food was bad, rice tasted burnt and wontons were cold and nasty ugh! So much for trying to get a non fast food lunch! Lesson learned...bring ur lunch or go...

The staff was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. They were very kind and offered us a seat as we waited for our food to be prepared. We chose to eat our food at home. I’m not going to lie, while waiting for our food, I read reviews of the restaurant because we’d never dined here before. After seeing so many negative reviews I was admittedly nervous and why I’m writing this review. When we got home and opened the food, I noticed that my bourbon chicken didn’t look like what I would normally get at a Chinese restaurant but it was delicious. The fried rice was perfectly cooked and the mixed veggies were great. I can’t understand the many negative reviews and I would recommend China Wok...
