Nice little soda shop that should serve Morgantown well. Large variety of options and flavors. Still a new business finding its footing with lots of potential. As a Dr Pepper fan I was pleased with several of the Dr Pepper flavored drinks. Quality and amount of ice cream was just right. Flavors for drinks were mixed nicely. Drinks of the week were a nice touch. I'm very pleased with this location and glad to have it in Morgantown. I wish you all the best Pop team!
Extra Notes:
Very nice staff that is learning to operate and meet demands of the area. When I was there they were out of a particular flavor but the staff got creative and worked around that and created something new for me on the spot. They did a nice job communicating with me while finding a solution.
They had flavors of the week that were themed. The week I was there it was Harry Potter themed drinks. A nice touch if you're a regular looking to try something new.
It is a soda shop so each item is made to order thus it will be (comparatively) slower than most places where you get soda/ice cream. Know that going in and plan for a few extra minutes and you won't be disappointed.
To continue on service please note it is a small shop so if you go closer to closing expect less workers and if you go when it's busy know it will take some time due to the style of drinks being made ahead of you.
Plenty of parking in the plaza. Handicap accessible parking and ramp is in front of the business (currently a dispensary) to the left (as you view the entrance from the street).
My only suggestion is pricing could be a little more clear (on the menu) based off of the other reviews I've seen. As we live near LA the pricing was in line with what I expected (around $6-10/person) but it may be slightly higher than the other ice cream options in the area. I found the quality of the ice cream and drinks to be well worth the price.
Overall, I really enjoyed this spot and I hope to visit again the next time I'm in...
Read moreFirst time to this business and wasn’t very impressed. My wife ordered an ice cream cone (chocolate chip mint) and wanted a waffle cone, but they gave it to her in a sugar cone. She commented that wasn’t the cone she wanted and the young guy and girl working just looked at her, but made no offer to get her what she wanted. I ordered a large chocolate milkshake. The young lady seemed to have a hard time dipping the chocolate ice cream and the guy put way too much milk in it (and no chocolate syrup). The shake was like $11 dollars and drank like watered down chocolate milk, not any thickness to it at all and could tell there was no chocolate syrup too. These two young people were not trained very well in listening or how to make milkshake. We used a gift card for this purchase, Definitely glad we didn’t pay out of our own pocket. Sad part is we did tip them $3.00 initially when ringing in the order. If I had known how the shake was going to be and my wife didn’t get the right type of cone, it would have been nothing. Maybe others that just got soda or energy drinks were happy or had a positive experience. I can only comment on our experience which wasn’t that great! If it were my new business, I would make sure that everything was done right.—You never get a 2nd chance for a...
Read moreWas there at 7pm tonight. When we walked in we were the only ones then while ordering a large group came in. I'm not sure if the girls working suddenly felt overwhelmed, but I'd ordered the mason jar cookie milkshake specifically to have the cookie. When I was given it I was told they had no cookies. The milkshake was very thin and not hardly milkshake consistency my husband's was very thin also. My son got a rootbeer float that had very little ice cream. A disappointing first experience for a $30 bill of items we didn't even finish as the shakes were like drinking flavored milk when...
