Capt'n Jack's — Restaurant in Westport

I understand change is hard. I’m a single mom that once in a while likes to treat myself to a well made espresso. With being a single mom, money can be tight. I dropped my babies off at school and with knowing I had a saved up free coffee card, I would treat myself to a coffee. I went and ordered my coffee and towards the end, told the owner that I had a free coffee card that I had EARNED. She proceeded to tell me that she could only give me a discount instead of a free coffee. I was angry but tried to be understanding as she explained that a previous employee decided to give out coffee cards before she took over the stand. I PAID for every single coffee on that card and instead of honoring it, I get punished for someone else’s wrong doing. Why should I believe her when she clearly doesn’t believe me. I didn’t lose my cool and excepted what she said even though I truly believe this isn’t the best way to start out your business. I will not be returning and the coffee stand by the shell station will now get all my business and referrals. Usually a new business owner will do things to make a transition easier on customers, not start out on the wrong foot. Good luck to you! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN TRULY RUIN...

Prime location across from Shop ‘N Cart makes it convenient to get your drinks which are very good. The workers are nice and always have a treat for my dog. That being said, I just wish they would OPEN ON TIME! If you are going to publish (on Apple Maps) that you open at 6am, then open at 6am, not 6:30, not 7, not when you feel like it. Many times on my way to work I’ve gone by just after 6 and no one is there. And I see other cars swing by looking for coffee at that time and it’s not open. And if it’’s a busy weekend like Pirate Daze, then forget it. They may not open till 8 or later - depending on how late they were partying the...

Idk kinda feel like I got shafted purchased (2) Large Caramel Lattes and the total was somehow $18.50.

I get that I got a large drink but GEEZ Louise $9.00 per coffee out the door with nothing else.

I will stick to my home made coffee from now on I cannot justify spending $9 a cup.

Crazy part was about 2 months ago I was coming here almost daily and the cost of the coffee was never near that much out the door with a nice tip included.
