Julian's Pizza Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Westport

Never before have I been treated so disrespectfully. I am an Uber driver and have done a number of deliveries for Julian's. They were always very nice and polite. One day I was on route and needed to stop to use the restroom. I remembered this establishment always being kind so I stopped in and asked to use the restroom. The manager quickly responded I'm sorry the restroom is for customers only. I said I understand but I've done deliveries for you a number of times, I have even spoken with you most of the times I make my deliveries here. He said yes I know I recognize you but I'm sorry you still can't use the restroom. I've never been treated like some sort of commoner. It was like the scene in Pretty Woman when she walks into the fancy dress shop and the women wouldn't let her shop there. I'm a respectable person, I don't live near this restaurant so I've never actually been a customer. I don't think that it's right for somebody to not let them use the restroom just because they are an Uber driver it made me feel like I am less than and don't deserve to have the same rights as other people who walk in there. The food always smells really good when I walk in and I've always considered taking food home if it was the end of my shift but they put such a bad taste in my mouth I will never order from there and I will tell everybody not to order from there. Making food is only one part of hospitality the other part is how you treat people whether they are current customers or possible future customers. Pizzas Immaculate. Tiramisu Decadent. Chocolate mousse cake Divine. Ravioli sauce took me back to the time where my grandma cooked my favorite ravioli on the balcony of eastern venice. The sauce. . . Used to be my go to for pizza but it’s been going downhill. Last night ordered a Caesar salad and a pizza with a couple toppings. The Caesar was sad I’ve gotten better at Wendy’s. Questionable lettuce and couple croutons. The pizza looked like the toppings were thrown on from across the room. A couple slices had nothing on them at all.
