As a big fan of Los Tacos No. 1 in NYC, it's great having this new option close by. Really great food all around. Barilla taco was the best we've had (tried a few others from top places/food trucks) and the quesadillas were all very flavorful, paired really well with their salsas, and were generally delicious. The drinks were the weakest part of the experience with nothing to write home about (piña colada & horchata), though they still weren't bad by any means. They were simply overshadowed by the stellar food. Prices seemed as expected for the area. Atmosphere was nice since it's all brand new and located in a quiet area of Westport near the tennis club, but also not something you'd likely come here specifically for. If great food, a clean and simple atmosphere, & warm service is what you are after then you will enjoy your time here. Worth a stop. Recommendations: barilla taco & carne asada quesadilla with green salsa

Sat outside on a beautiful August evening, moderate noise great vibe on the porch everyone having a great time. Food was excellent, but the best of all was the selection of hot sauces - amazing flavors!! Got the Mango/Cilantro margarita, very strange, the classic one is great though. I would say the meats and overall dishes are a touch dry (add sauces and youŕe good) and the portion size is controlled - I have to go try other dishes especially the fish taco. We got Quesadillas Al Pastor (best dish I think), Tacos Beef Ribeye - the meat was very tender and a little greasy, not heavily seasoned at all (add sauces and youŕe good), Quesadilla Carne Asada. For desert took the Churros with chocolate to go the chocolate was outstanding but the churros were a bit tough and soggy (theyŕe probably better straight outta the kitchen). Remember: add sauces and youŕe good!

We enjoyed a rainy day late lunch at Tacombi and felt transported during our meal. The food and atmosphere reminded us of taquerias in Houston, and the agua frescas of vacation in Cabo. Prices are definitely Westport though. Sadly it was empty - maybe due to the time of day (2:30 on a Sunday). Nice vibe, good background music, refreshing drinks, tasty food and good service. An alternative to Bar Taco, which we also really enjoy. We will be back. What we ordered - and we enjoyed it all: Drinks: Horchata, Agua de Piña, Lupita Orange Apps: Corn Esquites, Avocado Tostado, Guacamole con Totopos Tacos: Beef Ribeye, Baja Crispy Fish, Beef Birria, Al Pastor, Pollo Yucateco, Seared Fish Also: Adobada (Mexico City-style Al pastor roasted pork) Nice that you can buy one get one on Tuesdays.

I tried this restaurant today because I follow a local content creator on Twitter who works there and I always wanted to try the food because it looks so good on the posts I see on social media so I came today with my boyfriend and was so disappointed it’s a nice place and it’s so cute and cozy but I was disappointed that the service was so bad I understand it’s a job and not everyone wants to go to work every day but the girl who waited on us was so short and rude and you could tell she didn’t want to serve us. I don’t know the influencers name who works here because it isn’t listed on Twitter so I asked if someone else could serve us and our server said “no it’s me or nobody” so rude!! Like what!! Then we ordered our food and I already knew what I wanted because I’ve seen it online I got the pork quesadilla and the street corn and the guacamole tostada and the shrimp taco, first of all the tortillas on the taco were falling apart and soggy and unappealing then the pork was so thick and RAW in the middle. RAW PORK can cause really bad health problems that’s disgusting!!! It smelled so good and I waited so long to come here and I was served raw food. The guacamole was NOT fresh I asked our server and she said “well I don’t know how it wouldn’t be fresh because we make it every day” with such an attitude and then my boyfriend wanted to cause a scene and ask for a manager and I said no it’s not even worth it. The street corn was the only thing I was able to enjoy. My boyfriend liked his burrito and fish tacos but we’re never coming back and I already disputed the transaction off my credit card because there’s no way I’m letting payment for terrible service and raw pork hit my account there’s just no way. I even sent a message on Twitter to the content creator who works here because my experience was nothing like I was made to believe and I guess that’s the problem with believing people on social media because honestly I saw a post last week with a work schedule encouraging people to come in on days the creator was working. And I came in today for that exact reason and had a terrible server who obviously didn’t even want to be at work. I didn’t get a response yet so I called this restaurant to speak to a manager and whoever answered the phone hung up on me so now I’m going to leave a review on Google and Yelp and the BBB. Awful service is bad enough but serving customers raw squishy pink pork...

I saw the viral post online a few days ago and I came in to see if it was true. Plus the post said you have to leave a review to be entered in the giveaway so here’s my first ever review!!! The guacamole and corn esquites was definitely really good and the seared fish was really good too but the chicken was undercooked I had to send it back. I told them I have a dairy allergy and they served me things with cheese twice so good thing I was paying attention because my allergies are bad. I didn’t try the pork because I’ve seen the pics online of it being raw but it looked pretty good. That’s really it for my review for food, it was okay but service was kinda bad. Also the white man who I think is the owner is really rude, he was not polite to me or my mom and I heard him raise his voice and be very rude to not only one of the workers but another customer too. The cocktails were my favorite though I had the Sandia Santa and it was so good. Since I saw the videos online I didn’t get the horchata because I didn’t know if it was fresh but if I ever find a way to verify when it was made I’ll definitely try it. I don’t think I’d come back here cuz the service was so awful and the cheese thing kinda scared me cuz I would of had to go to the hospital if I ate that. Plusyou really can’t charge people crazy prices but then be rude and have poor customer service and serve them things that could make them really sick. But I wouldn’t even be so mad about some of the food being cooked wrong if the staff was friendlier. Maybe next time I’ll just order take out and not order any meat like maybe just guac and a cocktail to go lol that’s probably...

Marketed as hip but authentic with a hipster/douche appeal. This is a chain establishment may be equivalent to chipotle of tacos. Personally, not a fan of these businesses model. When charging upwards of $8/taco, please provide “homemade” fresh salsas and tortillas. Birria tacos are fried and greased with a consommé that is undigestible. Fish taco lacked depth in seasoning and type of tortilla did not balanced it. Carne asada was dry and lacked seasoning. Tacos required a lot of the bottled salsa to make it palatable. You won’t see any Mexicans near this establishment. It’s like going to an Asian restaurant and not seeing Asians. Faux overpriced taqueria that exits to rip suburban patrons that are unaware of authentic Mexico City tacos. Purely to fund their investment team. No table service (qr code/counter ordering), paper plates, bottled salsas, factory tortillas, no cilantro/onions to add to tacos, and ambience is a parking lot). With a default tip of 25%-18% at checkout (kiosk). Not appropriate for this style of restaurant. These type of places get 0% to 10% - Like tipping at Wendy’s, BK, Subway/MCD. This place is highly misleading and the margarita recipes are dated. Should you feel like eating high priced commercial tacos this may be...
