Mike and Whitney are exceptional physical therapists.
I had previously been dealing with lower back issues, which culminated in surgery for a herniated disc. Prior to surgery, I was running and working out regularly. Despite my best efforts, recovery was progressing slowly and I actually injured my neck / shoulder exercising on my own.
I initially reached out to them because of that acute injury, but I expressed to Whitney my ongoing frustration with my back. She got right to work, and within a few sessions my neck had improved dramatically. She then began to address my broader issues and developed a program to improve my overall mobility and movement.
During each session Whitney was attentive to every exercise, effortlessly balancing casual conversation with necessary feedback and adjustments. She pushed me beyond what I thought possible, but did so with compassion and understanding.
Mike and Whitney are incredibly passionate and skilled therapists. They are flexible and generous with their time. Perhaps most importantly, they care deeply about their patients.
After working with them for a few months, I've gradually returned to many of the activities I participated in before surgery. I developed the confidence to lead a healthy, active life that I can enjoy with my wife and friends. Because of this, I am so grateful for their efforts...
Read moreAfter I tore my ACL, the first people that I wanted to speak to were the physical therapists at GOAL. With such a severe injury like the one I have, physical therapy is a crucial part to my recovery, so I knew I wanted to go with people that I trust to help me get through the journey I was about to embark on. However, being away at college was not an issue when it came to working with GOAL. All of the physical therapists are very responsive and will quickly get back to me if I have any question or concern about my rehab. In addition, the program that they use, Train Heroic, allows you to put comments and write exactly what you are doing so that they can stay up to date with my recovery. I also spoke to someone multiple times a week about my training protocol and whether or not I felt good with it. This enabled me to get a great schedule together and get the rehab that I needed. I really do recommend working with GOAL, even if you are not in person because their efforts and care for you are exactly where they need to be. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support from GOAL and their efforts in getting me to where I need to be to be back on the field to...
Read moreGoal Physical Therapy is amazing!! I began physical therapy at Goal about 2 months ago for ACL rehab. I bounced between two other pts and was a little ways into the recovery process. I played soccer in college and I was looking for a therapy location focused on athletes and return to sport. Goal is exactly that. After initial evaluation, the staff accessed exactly where I was in recovery and formulated a plan specific to what I needed. Everyone I worked with - Whitney, Sky, Owen, and Kevin are all so kind, knowledgeable, and fantastic therapists. I live a little over an hour away from Goal, so I visit 1x a week and Whitney and the staff have put together my training program through an app. Here, I have example videos, chat features, and one-on-one feedback for all other daily exercises. Every workout at Goal is structured, I already feel so much stronger and have learned so much since starting the program. Going through an injury is difficult but I am 100% confident in my recovery plan and would recommend Goal PT to anyone. Feeling grateful to have...
