Little Pub at Dunville's — Restaurant in Westport

a very nice historical-type establishment. I think last time I was there I saw George Washington seated at the bar. Try the linguine bolognese, which is truly excellent. It must be some kind of personal specialty of the chef, because it really is outstanding. It has a mix of vegetables in with the meat sauce that makes for a really outstanding pasta dish. ----- Thank you for replying ! It is a nice place and the linguine bolognese really is outstanding. My first post-pandemic, solo trip out for a drink was to Dunville's. The bartender. Glenn made me feel welcome and mixed an excellent Manhattan. In no time at all, he and the other customers at the bar and I exchanging memories of old time Westport. The burger and fries I ordered were outstanding. The burger was perfectly cooked and flavorful and the fries were as crisp as I like them. Glenn was fun and engaging...a real improvement over the places I've been where a single woman is often treated as though invisible. If you're looking for good food and a welcoming place to have a cocktail, I can' t think of a better place than Dunville's, especially when Glen is...

I didn't even know this Little Pub existed. I like Little Pubs. I've gone to the Wilton one many times as it is across the street from my work. Been to the Fairfield one a couple times. I think I like this Westport one the most so far. The pub it's small and quaint. Very cozy feeling. The service was fantastic. I only stopped in for drinks, so can't say anything about the food. Maybe next time, though. If you're a fan of Little Pubs, definitely check this...
