Renato's Pizza — Restaurant in Westport

I'm a delivery driver and today I went to pick up an order at this place. The order was supposed to be ready at 8:50, but it was taking a while, so I asked why. One of the employees got annoyed and asked me to step back from the counter like I was nobody. We ended up arguing, which shows the level of discrimination going on. If it was a Westport resident, they wouldn’t have been treated like this. This happens in a lot of places where employees don't see delivery drivers as customers but more like servants. Anyway, the guy pointed me to the door and even said he'd report me on the app. Let me tell you something. I've been delivering for a long time, with over 25,000 deliveries and almost perfect ratings. Plus, the app isn't my employer, nor is this establishment. What I can say is that you should tell your employee that drivers are PEOPLE too. They don't get paid to wait, customers leave bad reviews when the food is late, and most importantly, they deserve respect. Next time, teach him to be kind and polite to everyone and not to treat drivers...

Truly fantastic wood fire oven pizza. We tried 4 different options and each one was absolutely perfect. A crispy, thin, chewy and tasty crust (which is really hard to master unless you are a master), together with the right balance of crust to sauce and cheese. We love pizza and Renato's is one of the best. The Bianca was outstanding and the traditional was spot-on. The service was equally exceptional. We arrived during the dinner time takeout rush and ate at the restaurant. I've tried lots of pizza in Fairfield County and Renato's pizza is perfection! The crust is thin and crisp, the sauce is slightly tangy and very fresh, and it has just the right amount of cheese. I was overwhelmed by the different kinds of pizza and toppings - too many to list here but they have everything you'd want on top of a pizza - so I decided to start with the classic cheese pizza without toppings.
