Let’s begin that this place has delicious food, humus is to die for, the best humus I ever tried. Nice relaxing atmosphere and I love the fact that you can bring your own liquor, since it’s BYOB. But, and it is a huge but, customer service, at least the day we visited was terrible. The lady was rushing things, she was very rude, we asked for more bread since it was like 10 spreads on the table and she ignored it, so half of the spreads went to waste, we ordered cappuccino and were waiting for it for good 20 mins, while everyone else already finished their coffees, plus the restaurant booked our table for later to another party, we were having a good time talking and celebrating Birthday anniversary when they basically kicked us out because another party showed up. And we had 10 people in our party and many orders, so check was big and it was so unpleasant to receive a service like that. Since it was my first time in this restaurant, I definitely would come back to eat the humus and give this place another chance. But I think management should keep an eye on the work of their workers. Since I was working as waitress myself, you simply can’t be rude to people no matter what is going on in your life.

Let’s start by addressing the negative reviews. This is a gourmet restaurant. GOURMET. The portion sizes are small and pricey, as is customary at gourmet restaurants. If you are looking for large value for money portions, go to the Cheesecake Factory. Seriously, don’t bother coming here. You will be disappointed. Now if you are willing to pay for gourmet style food, this place is phenomenal. We loved almost every dish that came to our table; from the salads to the entrees. The dessert was on another level altogether. The special Israeli Babka cake was one of the best bites I’ve had in a while. It was heavenly. The ricotta fritters were also amazing. We loved it so much we came 2 nights in a row. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I’m probably going to start doordashing their Kebab once a week. We plan to be regulars here. Kudos to the chef.

Honestly there’s nothing bad I can say about this place. The atmosphere and the interior decoration makes you feel like your in the the Mediterranean. The dishes and their presentation are very pretty and professional, and the staff is all very friendly. I came here with my boyfriend for my birthday dinner, and we were both very impressed for our first time experience . We ordered the Moroccan cigars the ones on the special and on the menu and they were so yummy. For our main dishes we got the lamb which was very tender and flavorful and the chicken kofta which came with a yummy tabouleh 😋 For dessert with ordered a gluten free chocolate soufflé which was served with ice cream, and to top it off a nice warm Turkish coffee. Definitely felt like we were in the Middle East/Mediterranean here..brought back some memories from when we went to Israel.

We come to this restaurant at least once a week. The humus is wonderful (most of the time. Once or twice it has been served unfresh. There is an item on the lunch menu that my dearest friend loves. ( DO NOT GO THERE FOR DINNER AS THE FOOD IS NOT GOOD AND EXTREMELY OVERPRICED). We always order a cappucino at the end of the meal. The genteman who makes the cappuccino is lovely. Today, the cappuccino was waterly and devoid of a coffee flavor. We had it remade only to be served the exact same quality. Upon receiving the bill, $16.00 was charged. Yes, a cappuccino is $8.00. I went into the restaurant and spoke to the most ARROGANT AND COLD male named RICKY. Nothing more than a robot he kept repeating that he woukd not take it off the bill. I asked to speak to the manager whom I know and I was told that he was to assume her role when she was unavailable. What an egregious mistake. RICKY was unproffessional, arrogant snd quite frankly disgusting. He kept repeating that the $16.00 will remain on the bill. Not one of the drinks were consumed as they were not consumable. What a disgrace!!! Shame on you Ricky!!!! He is so “nice” when he is your server. What a duplicitous human being!!!!! IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE, I feel sorry for you that you need to lie and say Ihave never met owner, along with tge rest of your false commentary. I did , and he was rude and arrogant. We have not returned anything in s very long time!!!!! We leave a 40 percent tip and even though your food is do inconsistent, we DO NOT complain. I come here with a friend who loves a particular plate. It is a vegetable plate. The last time the cauliflower were the sizes of baseballs and the time before that the sizes of gold balls. Your employee Ricky suits your establishment. You have the AUDACITY to say I used the word “servant”. I hate the word, do not use that word EVER and that must be how your employee feels working for you! How dare you put such an ugly word in my mouth???? I cannot stand your restaurant, the pompous attitude and now tour EGREGIOUS LIES. Your server Ricky was a diagrace. Uou charge for unconsumed food! Enjoy your day and you can ruin your “reputation” all om your OWN. I will NEVER set foot in your pretentous...

I usually don’t leave reviews for restaurants, but I would like to share a few thoughts about Mezza. I found this restaurant on Google, and before going, I checked some reviews. With a 4.5-star rating, which is incredible, I did notice a few negative reviews. It seems people often take their frustrations out on service businesses these days. Some people complained about the prices, which I don’t understand since the prices are listed on their website. If you think it’s expensive, don’t go there. There are plenty of restaurants for every budget. Complaining about prices seems ridiculous when they are clearly stated.

Yes, the prices at Mezza are not cheap, but they make sense given the quality and freshness of the food. Every dish we received was exceptionally fresh and high-quality. We ordered crab cakes (served as two pieces), fish bites (served as three pieces), and a special salad with burrata cheese, mint pesto, poached nectarine, and truffle demi-sauce, which was an incredible combination.

For entrees, we had the Lamb Shank, which had a generous portion, Duck Confit, Sautéed Bronzini, and Seafood Kebab. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The service was also amazing; we were very impressed. The staff cleaned the table after each course and kept it spotless. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and they asked if we had any allergies, which many restaurants don’t do. This attention to detail was very impressive.

It’s worth mentioning that Mezza is BYOB. They opened our wine and provided an ice bucket but didn’t pour the wine, which makes sense for a BYOB establishment. There was no corkage fee, unlike some other restaurants.

We were celebrating a birthday and ordered halva ice cream and a special dessert, which came with a sparkler. This surprise made my fiancé very happy. We truly felt special last night. Thank you, Mezza. We...

My family gathered at this restaurant for my sister's birthday at the end of April. Let me begin with the positives. Everything we ate and drank was absolutely delicious, from beginning to end.

It's amazing how a single utterance from our server nearly spoiled this entire experience from jump street. We arrived 30 minutes late from our original reservation time, but were sat with no issues. Before even taking a drink order, our server says (and I'm paraphrasing) "just so you know, your use of this table ends 2 hours from your original reservation time." No one likes to feel rushed while eating their meal, particularly when your in a large group celebrating something.

Having worked within this industry before, this is an egregious lack of tact by the server or the people training them. And it was completely unnecessary. First off, by the time we were ready for dessert and coffee, there were plenty of open tables within the restaurant so there was no need to rush us. Secondly, the server got it wrong to begin with because parties of our size are reserved for 2 and 30 minutes, NOT 2 hours.

+1 point to the food being as awesome as it was along with +1 point for the management taking steps to ensure that we were not, in fact, rushed out of the building and throwing us some pretty tasty desserts literally saved this from being a...
