The Kebabci West — Restaurant in Westwood

Absolutely the rudest people i have ever dealt with. No customer service training or respect towards customers. I never leave bad reviews but the way they dealt with me was unacceptable. I ordered online and the site charged me $8 extra because i was “ out of preferred range”, i accepted it no problem, and then i also left a $14 tip. I received a call from them, telling me im too far to come pick it up. I had to explain to them 7 times i cant pick it up, and i was charged extra to get it delivered . If you cannot deliver past a certain radius then DO NOT charge people extra?! To then call them, and be extremely disrespectful as if it’s their fault. The manager yelled at me for 5 minutes until he said he’ll just get my food delivered and to “never order from them again”, after i told him if you don’t want to deliver it, then just refund me my entire purchase including the delivery fee. Makes sense, no? He then thought he hung up in my face right after yelling, and then continues to scream with the driver. When the driver came, he was a bit more respectful but still tried to blame me that the order printed by them and they don’t deliver further than 10 minutes away. I told him please take it up with your website provider to fix this issue so you don’t face this with other customers and yell at them. He told me “that’s not the point” and i just took the food and told him to take care. Goodbye! All this for the food to be mediocre. One of the best meals I've ever had, hands down. I wish I took a picture of the spread but was too hungry and too immersed in the experience and conversation provided by the staff, I didn't even think of it. The food came out quick and hot, and so so fresh. The man, who may be part owner(?... Not sure but he was working the front) said "your meal (falafel) comes with hummus and it's the best in the area".... He was NOT wrong nor was he exaggerating even just one bit. The lebni was out of this world. My boyfriend who doesn't really like veggies or has never enjoyed a falafel ever, said it was so delicious and the best he's ever tried (coming from someone who doesn't enjoy them says a lot!). He had the kebab meal (I forgot the name!! But I think it was the first one off the menu) and was out of this world. I took a bite of it and it was amazing. They also gave us this spicy veggie dip on the house and was so damn good we ordered another to have with our meal.

Wow! Just ate here for the first time and we will definitely be repeat customers! Hubby and I shared a small Shepherd Salad that was incredibly fresh and so healthy. Then we had the Kebabci mix for 2. Each of the sish kebab meats was tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked and DELICIOUS. The rice, bulgar and tomato were perfect accompaniments and if you like a little zing there were roasted spicy peppers to bring the burn. We highly recommend getting a side order of the yogurt dip (white sauce) because it goes with everything. We had delightful service and guidance as we tried this new-to-us food.
