Burritos and Tacos Mexica — Restaurant in Westwood

This is a nice restaurant, mostly setup for take outs. There are tables for dining but food is served in to go containers. The menu is concise, mostly the well know items like burritos, tacos, empanadas fajitas and burritos bowls.

We got the chicken burrito, mixed tacos and chips with guacamole. The guacamole was not to our liking, it was missing seasoning, needed more lime and salt. The mixed tacos were decent, steak was my favorite, followed by shrimp and fish. I didn’t like the toppings on the tacos much. The burrito was filled with chicken, rice and guacamole. The wrap was baked which I am not a fan of.

i have been wanting to go here since i came back from mexico. I have not been a big taco person, but i loved them in mexico and was hoping to find someone that makes them a similar way. This place does and the food was really good, i had the shrimp tacos, great flavor, not greasy at all , my husband had quesadilla and chorizo nachos and said they both where great. my tacose came with a mango salsa that and really good, the food was all very fresh. i loved that. very impressed, ...

The food was ok. Way too many raw onions on the chicken tacos. Some bites were like biting into an onion. Also the chicken was overcooked and dry. Chorizo burrito was fine but not mind blowing at all. The chorizo wasn't terribly spicy and ground and not in pieces. It made it easier to eat, but also made it seem a cheap product. The guy behind the counter was kinda rude. Nothing specific, but not a friendly person to answer the phone or greet a customer. I’d maybe go back, but...
