Michele's Ice Cream & Sandwich — Restaurant in Weymouth

Great little place...consistently really good food. Thought they only had ice cream for some reason but they have so much more! The turkey gobbler is amazing. Real fresh roasted turkey with the perfect amount of stuffing and cranberry and some sort of yummy mayo. I'm now addicted. My boyfriend was so happy with his turkey club, especially after getting a really disappointing one for way more money in Hingham the night before. Really good fries. A million flavors of ice cream...frappes are one of the best I've ever had. The owner is really sweet and accommodating, always looks like she's working her butt off. Everyone is nice, friendly, it's clean, cute decor, you can eat there, call ahead, drive through (give them a break on any wait at the drive through if you don't call ahead...where can you get real food and ice cream made fresh to order at a drive through?). Soups, chowder, salads, grilled hot dogs...something for everyone. Good prices/specials (wrap and a frappe for like $10). So glad we finally started going here after driving by many times. I hope...

Arrogant gentleman answering drive thru window I strongly suggest driving to Friendly’s for a more kid friendly environment as this man will ruin it for them as he did mine

*no he did not I asked for a milkshake he shook his head at me in a demeaning manner like I was foolish to think I could order there. First and last time using the drive-thru. You’re owner or employee rudely threw his hands in the air telling me he couldn’t help when I explained to him I was confused because I followed the drive thru arrow. As far as return? I would rather not take children to an establishment that gets agitated when customers are confused especially with children. His demeanor was terrible and I will be sure to inform my neighbors in Quincy as well as my daughter’s team mates on the Weymouth youth track team. Replay your cameras and post the incident on this review, let’s see if others agree with you on his mannerism with customers that have young children.

I am very upset with my experience here.My friend came in and explained how she has celiac disease and asked if they could just wash the ice cream scooper for her order. Another worker (not the one we were talking to) rudely interrupted and said they cannot do that and that she couldn’t get the ice cream she wanted and that they could not sanitize. They didn’t need to sanitize she just kindly asked for it to be cleaned before scooping her ice cream. Mind you she has been here before and never had this issue before. After this encounter we hear the same worker yelling at another employee in the back saying things like “didn’t you hear what i just told you to do” in an angry and aggressive tone. this experience was very unprofessional and disappointing to us...
