I just left the drive-thru of this store about 30 minutes ago. It's 6:30 PM 4/9/19. I pulled into the drive through, up to the order area. someone pulls in immediately behind me. A male taco bell employee mumbles over the speaker, " (unintelligible)...and a bunch of chalupas to make so it will be about a 10 minute wait." No problem. I reply, " No thanks, I'll just come back later." I was going to run an errand and come back. I ask, "Is there someone in front of me at the window?" I was just going to pull through; it's the drive-thru after all. "Yes", he replies, " It will be about a 10 minute wait." I say, " There is someone behind me. How long until the drive-thru customer person pulls out?" He repeats there is a 10 minute wait for food. I ask him, "If I can't back up and I can't go forward, does he expect me to wait?" I'm thinking he will offer a solution. This time, with more snark, he states, " I'm not the one who designed the drive-thru." Really? I pull behind the person at the window, turn my car off, walk up to the window of the person in front of me and politely ask him to please move because there is a 10 minute wait and I would like to pull through. The driver looks at me as if he has no idea what I am talking about. He tells me to hold on because he wants to ask the Taco Bell employee how long until his food is ready. All of the sudden, the order taker appears at the window to announce the person behind me has backed out. Now I have to get in the car and drive backwards, back around the corner of the store, then parallel to Youngsfield, out of the drive-thru. Not an easy task. I finally navigate backwards out into the parking lot and what do I see? Three or four cars in the parking lot. Are you serious? Your lazy employee can't ask the person at the drive-thru window to pull forward into the parking lot because his order (In the frikin drive-thru!) will take 10 minutes? Why can't you order taker or another employee bring your customer's 10 minute order out to his car? My suggestion is, maybe try employing the people with the signs who are standing on the corner across the street. They may actually be more competent than what you have going on there now. I won't be...
Read moreI am a Taco bell lover and recently moved to this area where this location is less than a mile from my house. However, they are always slow, out of items, and rude. I went one evening for my entire family, where I spent over 25 dollars. While ordering I was told that they were out of steak, out of beef, out of rice, out of ice in the front and back, the list goes on. After waiting for about 3o minutes I get home to find that we were missing about 4 things, the things we did have were cold, and they had basically just thrown in whatever they wanted to get me to leave. I called the next day and spoke to a "manager" named Charles who I told that I work in customer service and I get being short staffed but that this was above and beyond bad. He told me to bring my receipt and they'd give me my money back, and that he'd pass it on to the next shift. When I showed up I had the "manager" argue with me that she remembered my order and didn't screw it up, that there were cameras, told me they don't give refunds, and practically cussed me out-in front of my 6 year old. She said she called Charles and he denied telling me I could have a refund (total bs) She had just introduced herself as Jamie to a woman waiting to interview, and after the way she treated me I asked for her name and her supervisors name, she lied and told me her name was "Kat" and told me to leave. I immediately called and asked for someone by the name of Kat, to which I was told there had never been a Kat at that location...although there was at another location. The fact that she lied to me about her name after arguing with me is the worst "manager" etiquette I've ever seen. Every time I've been in after this she's unpleasant, rude, and treats me like sh**. Mind you I was never rude to the girl, I just asked to be refunded like the earlier manager had told me I would be. Its not like the money was going to come out of her pocket. You better believe I've been working on making sure this woman no longer runs a shift at any customer service, especially food service again. After 15 years in customer service, I've never seen a manager argue with a customer, threaten them with looking up footage, and refusing to...
Read moreI go to this Taco Bell somewhat frequently, seeing as it's right down the street from my house and I don't drive.
Now more than half the time, my order is right, the person at the front is super helpful and nice, and normally it doesn't take too long.
But, I notice when I come in the morning for breakfast to the lobby, most mornings no one in the back is paying attention. I've stood there for 5 minutes at some points, saying hello, waiting to be noticed, and nothing. So instead I'll walk out and go to McDonald's. I'm not the only one this has happened to either.
At night they also have this weird tendency to randomly close early, or they're not closed but someone isn't wearing their headset and not paying attention.
Recently, my boyfriend and I went through the drive through at this one since he was hungry and that's what we both initially agreed on. I was so appalled. There were two girls working that night, and it took them about a minute to answer us when we went to the drive through. I originally told my boyfriend forget it let's just go to McDonald's instead, and the girl through the speaker says "Fine, go to McDonald's!" I can't tell you how bad I wanted to just have my boyfriend peel out but he was stubborn and stayed, and eventually they did help us and take our order, but... really? Telling us to go to your competition because you don't want to work? Then PLEASE find another job. Taco Bell isn't worth your time if you're just going to be so rude to someone.
My recommendation, do not go in the morning, or probably after 9pm-10pm. That's when you get the...
