I don't know how this place is still open. A friend invited a number of us to celebrate his birthday here recently and he had ordered a few pizzas to share. The pizza was really greasy. The soda was kind of flat.
For dessert, he asked for a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of vanilla in a dish for everyone. What does the restaurant do? They bring out one dish with a scoop of chocolate, and a second dish with a scoop of vanilla, and a third with a rainbow spumoni or something and a bunch of spoons so we could pass the three scoops around the table to share amongst 8 people. They didn't ask to see if this was a weird request or if everyone was getting three scoops each.. Just the three scoops in separate dishes and a bunch of spoons.
Let's not forget how empty this place was. Normally if a place is empty at lunchtime on the weekend, there may be one or two other tables with people or a couple hanging out in the bar area. D'Agostino's was completly empty except for our table. It was so empty that a server who was waiting on us asked to have the bill paid as she was being sent home early. It was 2pm. Early was an understatement.
Maybe there were delivery orders, but I doubt it. The place was dead. I don't understand how they stay open.
My advice: skip it as there are better options for pizza in the area and if you want anything else that's on their menu, I'm sure there are better places in the area to find them. Including your local...
Read moreService was great. Our waitress made some mistakes, but, she was nice and attentive. Pizza was fine. Kinda boring and leftovers were soggy. I DO plan to go back to try some other things. Atmosphere was nice. EDITED: Since my friend and I had free appetizers from installing the app, we decided to go back. Again, a different yet very nice waitress, HOWEVER, she messed up the free appetizer...giving us a larger portion ( and being charged for it even after we explained we should only get 4, not 8) we knew we needed to sign my friend up for the rewards before we checked out so we had to write her name and phone number on the bill, so they could sign her up. She paid the bill with a credit card... the bill had to go back because we were overcharged. THEN... as we finally got things straightened out, we didn't know until 2 days later that they never gave her credit card back!! My friend spent today trying to track down where her card was, to find out it was never given back to her at this restaurant. Mind you, her name AND phone number were written on the bill... they could have called.... luckily, there were no extra charges on it. Needless to say... What the heck is going on with this restaurant?!?! Can't they train their people...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE!! I ordered a taco pizza that came to my home with brown COOKED LETTUCE. Never in my life would you order cooked lettuce. I dont normally complain but for what the pizza cost I called. I spoke to a nice lady who told me no problem and she would send out a new pizza. 1 hr later the pizza arrives and the delivery driver tells us "Good Luck". I bite into a piece and I get a mouth full of hot sauce. I wait to call today to let someone know, and "Erica" (probably not her real name) tells me I'm lying that no one would do that. I told her I have no reason to lie. I'm not asking for anything. I just letting someone know so it can be prevented from happening to someone else. She was rude and her tone was unprofessional and I told her so. I asked to speak to an owner because I was not going to talked to in that fashion and was told no one was there. I have eaten here many times and alwaus enjoyed to food but I will NEVER order from here and again. WARNING TO OTHERS don't you dare complain or ask for a fair meal or this can...
