Ok so I guess the owner read my review, really listened to what I was saying, and oh my gosh this place is definitely way better now! Consistency with prices, kind employees that tried to engage in a conversation with me (though I never expect this - I’m okay with no conversation at all as long as they are not being rude!), and still the same delicious food. Highly recommend.

It's very unfortunate I have to leave this review because the food is really good, they have reasonable prices, and the younger lady that makes the food is very kind. However, the older lady who works as the cashier is so incredibly rude that it's hard to want to go back. When you enter, she glares at you like you don't belong there. Then when you correct her on the price that she charged you, she says "well we changed the price but we didn't get around to changing the menu yet and that's not my fault." Then she'll ask you if you really need the soup that your meal comes with. Then when you mention that the menu says the meal comes with soup, she'll say "well we changed the menu to have that meal not include soup anymore but we didn't get around to changing the menu yet and that's not my fault." Absolutely ridiculous. When that lady is rightfully fired, I will change my stars to the 5 this restaurant deserves and go back to supporting this great local...

I ordered a bubble tea, rose deluxe roll, and miso soup for dinner tonight. Unfortunately the rose deluxe roll which was almost $25 came without crunch. It was disappointing to pay that much for a roll and not have it made correctly.
The miso soup was a very small portion for almost $4. I got 3 pieces of seaweed and 3 of the tiniest tofu pieces I’ve ever seen. It looks like they just cut 1 normal sized tofu into 3 pieces? The to-go container was not even full to the top. I got about 3/4 of the cup. I’m a bit confused why I read so many reviews saying it was the best miso soup they’ve ever had. It is just regular miso soup.
Canned bubble tea is not a great idea as the tapioca balls are not good inside. Their texture is probably what you could imagine in a canned drink- rubbery and hard. (Do not have any expectations that this will be like a typical bubble tea).
Anyways, I think the miso soup drawing was sweet but I think I’d just go for something like the regular salmon crunch next time.
One plus is that the salmon was very fresh! I’d be willing to give it another chance. Just seems like they give you very little for the...
Read moreWe gave Wajo a try for carry out because it was later and our usual go-to sushi was already closed.
We ordered online and were quoted 15 mins. We arrived in 15, but it ended up taking more like 25 mins. That being said, the quality of the food made it absolutely worth the wait, and the sweet woman managing pickups was a pro, and offered me a complimentary drink on account of the extra wait. They have a lot of fun bottled Japanese beverages in the freezer case. I tried a can of Inotea Honeydew bubble tea and it was SO good. (Although the boba are soft, not chewy like I’m used to.)
Food was fantastic. Tasty vegetarian spring rolls. My partner got a couple of the deluxe sushi rolls, including a fried one, and said they were some of the best he’s had. I eat simple, 1-2 ingredient rolls, and I don’t like sauce, so I feel I can usually tell if ingredients are fresh - and they tasted that way to me!
Overall, I thought it was great quality sushi and reasonable prices. Great service as well.
I don’t know if I would dine in unless I was looking for an extremely casual experience. But will definitely be added to my carry...
