Euphoric Doughnuts — Restaurant in Wheeling

For the past month I have heard various friends speak of Euphoric Doughnuts with high praise. I have been wanting to try them out and finally did via Door Dash today.

I ordered the Strawberry Mascarpone and the Maple Bacon. To wash it all down an Iced Fireside Smore latte.

Let me start with the good. The latte was a smores lover's delight. The perfect blend of mocha and marshmallow. Not sickly sweet like other places when attempting a smores flavoring. I would definitely make this place my go to fancy coffee place over Starbucks.

Now the bad, the doughnuts. I won't be overdramatic; they were not horrible. Were they worth 5 bucks each and the raves I have heard??? NO. The dough was chewy, and the fillings were not sweet enough. Plus, you are skimped out of the star of the shows. The Maple Bacon had one tiny piece of bacon on top. The Strawberry maybe 4 tiny slices. All you tasted was cream.

Maybe I was expecting to be amazed by these since they are hyped. Maybe I think I am some doughnut connoisseur because I have been to way too many doughnut shops or maybe they just aren't that good.

What is good are the doughnuts at Bite Me Bakery located in the same city. When your eyes roll back in your head after one bite, you know they did it right. Unfortunately, Euphoric did not, at...

What a delightful surprise during our Christmas visit to see family! Euphoric Donuts, owned by Cameron Mitchell, is a hidden gem that's not to be missed. My wife, who usually isn't a fan of ordinary donuts, fell head over heels for their Vanilla Bean Glazed donut. The flavor was rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced - not too sweet, with a wonderfully light texture.

We've traveled through 9 states, trying various donut shops along the way, and Euphoric Donuts easily ranks among the best we've encountered. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients really shines through in every bite.

The shop has a warm, inviting atmosphere that made our holiday visit even more special. Cameron and his team clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows in the exceptional products they create.

I love your doughnuts! I had one in a friendly coffee shop in St. C. Ohio. I thought that it was possibly the best doughnut I ever had. I decided to go to the doughnut shop to buy more. Unfortunately, I was met with a very rude and only person working . The girl working did not say hello and was out of sight in the corner where the register sits. The doughnuts were in the case. viewing. When asked about certain doughnuts, she said she didn't know because she couldn't see them from there. She never walked over to see them. Finally, I asked if I was supposed to get the doughnuts. Self-serve? The waitress then said she would come over when I decided which ones I wanted.

To the owner, thank you for making these wonderful and delicious doughnuts, but please get some decent help.
