05/13/2019 5 stars if it weren't so expensive and because I am a poor trucker have to take back one star.
Server was very cordial. I wish I'd gotten her name. Maybe, if I win the Megabucks, I can swing back by in my chauffeured limo and drop off some flowers.
Food is better than average. The bagel encrusted with hash browns and filled with cream cheese. 2 eggs, ham and more American cheese was a bit weird for me but satisfied my morning hunger in due course and the Caribou coffee was quite good, I thought. A previous poster said the coffee sucked (I paraphrased) but he/she hasn't imbibed in the normal, useless and hopelessly weak truckstop coffees I've had to force down in my trucking life. So, yes, I think this Caribou coffee is okay.
Let's see, what else...hmmm, well the decor is nice. I also think they have free Internet and will check it out after I finish this short, little comment...well, kinda short.
Yep, still here ... waiting for dispatch to get me a load. Waiting , waiting ... waiting ... wai ...
For you OTR drivers waiting at FedEx Ground: You can drive (bobtail) hardly a mile up to this location without a trailer and park right outside.
So far (all day), no one has chased me out of here. I'm parked out of the way and away from the entrance so as not to be in the way of commuters rushing to and fro. :-)
I'm trying to hide...
Give me a thumbs up below if you...
Read moreThis place is consistently awful. I come here from time to time in the hopes that it’s going to get better but it never does. Something is wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. Most of the time, they are out of creamer or stir sticks or sugar, even when there are two people in the restaurant and the employees are standing around chatting and not cleaning the tables or restocking things. Other times your food is just not what you ordered or it’s cold when you get it. If it’s at all busy though, the wait for coffee is 15 to 20 minutes. It’s just ridiculous. Today, was another shining example. Not only did I wait the 20+ minutes, when I went to get my sleeve, the barista grabbed the empty basket and said: “We’re out.” and went back to making coffee. Not: “We’re out but I’ll grab some” or anything helpful like that. So I grabbed napkins to wrap around my cup so it wouldn’t burn my hand. There were almost 40 people in the dining room and 12 people waiting on drinks and/or food and everyone was unhappy. The reason for this is because there was one barista. The management here clearly sucks because the place is still as bad as it was when I started coming here almost 2 years ago. I’ve given them chance after chance, so Dunn Brothers will be getting my business from now on. Save yourself the bad mood and go...
Read moreJust now 08/12/23 3:30pm, I ordered a Medium decaf with cream on the side, like I do everyday. Alex O. Asked me which Decaf? I said what do you have available? He said we have no Decaf? (I thought, then why did you ask me which decaf) I said Ok no problem Thanks anyways. As I turn to leave he says “we have Americano Decaf” I said “so you do have decaf?” He chuckled. So then I thought to myself is this guy messing with me? But I said Okay I’ll have that with Cream on the side. “He said that’s a new one for me. That might be a problem, I don’t think we can sell you cream on the side” which I know you can because I’ve done it before, and I wasn’t asking for a cup of cream only put some cream on the side instead of my decaf. I told him I order this same thing everyday with no problems, He says, well I’m not here everyday, that’s when I was positive he was pulling my chain and I told him to get someone else to come, at that point the other workers that were chatting stops and realized there was some issue and came over and they were able to take my order and give me my cream on the side. However I opened my side of cream and saw they literally put a small splash, I order this everyday and I never got a tiny splash. Anyways I know now to only go in the mornings or weekdays and...
