So the no-meat burrito that I typically order I don't have any complaints about. I would make this place a regular stop for this type of cuisine, however, this item is supposed to cost 10.99 plus tax yet it rings up at 13.17. I knew that was too much for tax but as this was the second time this incident occurred (the previous occurrence was a good while back and I was giving the place another chance) I didn't even bother to call it out as I knew that I would just take my order and find a different option going forward. If there is some kind of gratuity fee applied it is not disclosed anywhere. A single 10.99 item should still cost less then 12 dollars after tax. The person ringing it up at the register should be able to recognize that and correct the discrepancy. Again the food is fine so an extra star for that but overcharging customers for the listed price is a non-starter, so I won't visit in the future.
Edit to address the reply: While I do appreciate the prompt response I just checked the website again and the no meat burrito is listed at 10.99 at present. This was also the price that I verified was posted on the overhead menu in the restaurant. The pricing information and increase needs to be updated and accurately represented in both cases as it is misleading...
Read moreNormally, I don’t review a place unless it’s really good or really bad. This one is kind of a weird one for me.. moved to the area at the beginning of the year. Went to this place a few times during the weekend for lunch and dinner. And it was great. The food was great and the service was great and it was quick too! Even though it was on Saturday I got a burrito in 10 to 15 minutes. Then I figured I’d give the place a try during the week on my way home from work. Both visits during the week we’re almost identical.. I would show up and kindly order a burrito, and for some reason the food took almost 30 minutes both times. And it was a lot less busy than it normally is on the weekend, And the second time it happened I was definitely more upset because I ordered my food to go. A simple chicken burrito. And then five minutes later more customers come in to dine in. And they order a sizzling hot fajita plate and get it within 10 minutes. Well, I had to sit there and wait another 15 minutes for my food.. and I’m not exaggerating the time I simply check the time on the receipt. It’s disappointing because I kinda liked it, The first time I went. But because of my last two experiences during the week, I probably won’t go here to often. Hope you have a...
Read moreA followup visit, this time was quite busy, Post-COVID. While there was no line at first, a continuous line started soon after and moved quickly. Our orders took a little longer this time, yet not that long, considering that they were custom built and baked, which takes longer than something just tossed into a tortilla and wrapped up. My order of a tamale was intentional, because I believe that if they make their own tamales and they are great, then the rest of their foods will also be great. It takes a significant time to make tamales along with loving care to make them great, a reflection of the care the restaurant gives all their foods. This tamale was great, along with everything in my order.
A relatively new bar and grill that I've never been in before. Their COVID menu has a couple dozen traditional Mexican dishes and they have a couple of coolers with soft drinks, beer, and liqueurs. The food was very good, drinks and after-dinner liqueur very nice. Definitely worth...
