Gyros King 3 White House — Restaurant in White House

We just enjoyed 2 Gyro Pocket Combos that were made to order by the great employees that work at the White House location. The pockets were loaded with Gyro meat and the veggies that we chose (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, feta cheese) were all so fresh. The French fries came right out of the fryer so that they were piping hot and seasoned so well. And the tabouli salad with the 2nd combo was vibrant, refreshing and so so good! We also ordered a Greek salad that made our dinner complete with lettuce, red cabbage, carrot slivers, olives, cucumbers and feta cheese. Don’t forget to get the salad dressing and Tzatziki sauces on the side if you order To Go. This is our 2nd time eating here as we visit family in the area. And it definitely won’t be our last! SO GOOD! We arrived around 4:30 PM and it wasn't busy. We were pleasantly greeted immediately. The young man that served us was quick and efficient. I got the Mixed Grill with Cucumber salad and was asked if I wanted extra toppings. I got onions and black olives withTzatziki sauce. He got the Gyro plate with rice, black olives, red onions and tzatziki sauce. Our order was ready in less than two minutes. The food was delicious and fresh. The cucumber salad is the best. Cucumbers are thick, juicy, tender and perfectly seasoned. The meat was tender and juicy. Portions are also enough for lunch the next day. As perfect as the reviews are, I was still surprised by how great this place was, and at prices that are incredibly almost crazy for 2024, when getting a McDonalds combo costs $13.

I’m not kidding when I say they could double their prices and as good as the food is, I’d still eat here. My wife’s Gyro was amazing. (If you’re used to the amount of Taziki that chain Greek places put, it may be more than you’re used to, so unless you love Taziki like I do, you might want to order light sauce)

I can’t speak for its “authenticity”, and frankly I don’t care, because the Philly cheesesteak was insanely good.

This will definitely be a once a week place for my family...
