We went in, party of 9. They seat us in a narrow room with a long table on one side and 3 or 4 booths on the other side. This is apparently also their break room as WE had to stack the extra chairs around the booth onto the seat so we could pull out our chairs. We were told 18% gratuity would be added automatically as we were a large group. I don’t mind paying auto tips, as long as they EARN them. They took our order, brought the salads and the waitress put the wrong salad in front of my mother and she just started eating it until we realized she had the wrong one (she has Alzheimer’s). So now we have moms salad with the dressing on the side, but wrong dressing. I wait a few minutes before going up front to explain and request the correct dressing. They get it. Our food arrives, well everyone but one person. Did the waitress check to make sure everyone had their order? Nope, she left. We waited a few minutes then my husband went to find out where the missing meal was. Well apparently they were so swamped, we were the only ones there, that the chef missed one of the meals. Then they had our 2 checks messed up, couldn’t fix it, offered a 20% discount on the meal we had to wait extra time for them to cook. Plus as I said I complained that the only time we saw our waitress was when she brought us food. I had to get up 3 separate times to ask for stuff. Finally as we were leaving, my father fell, tripped over one of the chairs there. NO ONE CAME TO SEE IF HE WAS ALRIGHT! No one asked if he was hurt, nothing!!! Oh the manager did apologize explaining the waitress was new and only 15. We’ll they should have one with more experience helping her!! Won’t EVER go back...
Read moreOnly place remotely near us that sells Hibachi, we order to go from there sometimes but never again. This time I knew when I asked for extra vegetables something would go wrong. I drive 15 min to pick it up and even ask when I'm there where is the rice, they tell me it is in this small little box and show me the extra vegetables are in the main container. I drive 15 minutes back home to find there is in fact no rice and I have yet another container of soggy vegetables. Frustrated I call and they are apologetic and ask if I want to come back and get the rice "complementary" umm... no I don't want to drive 15 min there and 15 back again but at this point I have no choice and NO nothing about this was "complementary" because we paid for it and you did not include it. The only thing complementary was my wasted time driving there and back AGAIN. I get there and they hand me a small box that has a half portion of rice in it, I ask for another one and they go back and fill it up some more telling me there is a new person filling the orders. They never offered to refund or discount anything just awkwardly stand there waiting for the missing food. I get home and then proceed to eat my now cold Hibachi...
Read moreWhen getting our bill we seen that the waitress rung up full adult meals for the kids in the party. When bringing this up she stated "you didn't say you wanted the kids meals". Two of the children with us were below 5 years old and the other was 10. We thought it would be obvious when we ordered that we wanted the kids version of the meals. This is my first visit so I was not accustomed to the portion sizes however at Koi in gallatin the kids meals barely different from the adult meal sizes so I thought nothing of it. When pushing back on the waitress she then stated "well they have already ate it so I can't take it off". When we ordered kids drinks we didn't have to tell the waitress to put them in kids cups, so why should we need to tell her they need kids meals. The food itself was good, but the attitude of the waitress was harsh when we simply asked "why were we charged for adult meals...
