I have experienced very unruly service at this location today by the entire staff. I felt stereotyped and unwanted. The reason for this is because I ordered a sushi roll ( Volcano Roll) and I wanted NO avocado because I am allergic, the cashier whom I believe was the manager on duty (Adolfo) charged me for a avocado roll which could have been a slight mistake,. After I saw the receipt I Immediately informed the employee who was preparing the food. I saw that everyone was very busy so I told them I don't mind if they switched my roll to one that is the same price so that we don't have to go through the trouble of a refund. The girl told the manager (Adolfo) and I explained to him what happened and were the misunderstanding took place he then responded to me and said '' YOU DID NOT TELL ME NO AVOCADO" I then told him its okay if he didn't hear me but I said NO avocado instead he charged me for an Avocado roll. He continued to argue back and forth with me telling ME that, that is not what I said. I was confused as to why he was not worried about helping me and apologizing to me for the misunderstanding! He treated me so unfairly, I felt violated, discriminated against, and I also felt embarrassed because there were other people in the restaurant. Also not to mention I asked for White rice instead he gave me fried rice. which I tried to get that issue resolved as well but AGAIN he decided to continue to argue with me telling me I said otherwise. Because I love this place, but the customer service is very poor! BTW his English is very poor so I don't see how he can even argue with me about something I said! For the past year, At Sarku in White Oak, I order regular meals and meals with extra meats. The regular plates mostly have NO meats and the extras are what I would normally.
