If you are visiting the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, plan a stop in Paradise at Catch of the Day for the freshest whitefish found anywhere. The fish are caught in the morning, and served fresh in the afternoon. They are prepared with a dry coating and deep fried to a light golden color. The coating doesn't cover the delicate flavor of this delicious fish. All orders come in baskets with fries and coleslaw. The day I was there, they also offered trout and salmon. If you go, go early because after that day's catch is gone, it's gone.

Wow! Highly recommended! Super mega delicious food! Fresh fresh fish. Cooked to perfection! And others that said the onion rings were awesome were exactly right. The lady working was super friendly. They only accept cash. We ate the fish in the car and my wife said it was a great dinner! (Come on now, when your wife is happy with a meal eaten in your car, you know you are eating at a great place or have an outstanding wife. And in this case it's both!). 🙂

Not sure how they got a 4.9 rating!! The price was ridiculous for what you got. We ordered the whitefish sandwich. It was a tiny piece of fish, skin on…(if you’re not used to that it’s nasty!). The fish tastes like it was either bad or they haven’t changed the oil in months. Only took one bite and almost lost my breakfast. It also had just a sliver of lettuce and a dollop of bland tartar sauce. $13. Does not come with any side. Fries were $5 extra and over seasoned!! Not even sure what that seasoning was but just not good! $32 for 2 sandwiches and fries. Threw it all out. Was inedible. They make bank on tourists, but would be surprised if they had any...

We decided to try Catch of the Day on our trip last week to Tahquamenon Falls & so glad we did. We had the white fish basket, onion rings & fries. The white fish was super juicy & tender & flavorful. The onion rings were the most amazing onion rings I've had in a long time. The flavor & texture was so good. Service was amazing. On a side note & super shout out to COTD: I had dropped (without noticing) my eye glasses across the street after we left & they noticed & went & picked them up. We circled back after praying they were there. So appreciative for that! Thank you very much! Would highly recommend & will eat again...

The best food truck in Paradise, Michigan. After rustic—off grid camping for several days this lunch was amazing. I opted for the trout special for lunch. I also picked up a whitefish only portion to have later.

I like the whitefish better than trout, yet I still wanted to try it. :-)

This is the red food truck NOT the black food truck. This area has lots of food truck popping up and not all are created equal.
