We stopped here to get some Whitefish. Very disappointed. Way over priced and horrible. $21 for a whitefish dinner which was JUST 3 small pieces of Whitefish and fries and a tiny cup of coleslaw. Very small portion for the price. At best this should have been a $10-$12 price. Fries are fries but they then wanted to charge us for ketchup! They serve horrible generic tartar sauce for the fish. If you sell Whitefish in this area, especially for this price, take the time to make your own tartar sauce. If you choose not to at least source a decent tasting one. The coleslaw was basically cabbage and mayonnaise. We also got the Onion Rings. They were just bland and eh…..but the only option for sauce was ranch that again I had to pay extra for and it was a runny, cheap, not very good tasting ranch. Read moreA highlight of our day. We wanted a sweet treat and this ice cream definatly was the perfect spot. We got a chocolate shake a small "blueberry waffle" cone. The small was 3 scoops! Not a small, but complaining, and worth every lick. Lol. The shake was thick and perfect. It did take a couple minutes, but perfection is worth the wait. Ashby's has become our new favorite brand and we look forward to coming to the U.P. for it! Portions and prices are great. It's a nice treat to find along the way...
