Drinks were great, food was great, restaurant set up was super cool. Very family friendly. The three of us came in 7:50 pm, waited to get seated, once we were seated waited almost 20 minutes to be greeted. Placed our drink and food order at the same time (waitress didn’t write anything down, just took the order by ear) got soup and salad very quickly and finished them still no drinks. Finally got our drinks when we said something as she was walking past. Didn’t have the drinks for 2 minutes before our food was out. We were not greeted during our meal, waited once finished to see if she would stop by. She did not. Had to come up and ask for desert afraid they would be done taking orders by the time our waitress came back as it was 8:55 (desert was delicious and massive, I highly recommend the brownie sundae). Overall I believe a better method of taking orders and better organization with the front of house would do them well. Didn’t seem like there was a bar tender so all drinks were made by waitress, plus desserts, on top of having to take care of their tables and remember all of their orders. I think that by the time we were there our waitress was wore out. Didn’t get our desert until 9:15 and didn’t leave until 9:20 ish (the sundae was scarfed down). After a long day at the state park we simply were not happy waiting around for an hour and a half just to have some...
Read moreThis is an absolute gem in Paradise! We sat out back where they had games (Cornhole, Connect 4, and Jenga). Our service started with Hailey who was so sweet to warn us the kitchen was a bit backed up but promised it would be worth it. She couldn't have been more right! There was also live music in the Backyard. Donald Benjamin was the perfect dinner music I could ask for. He played a great mix of genre music with a soft country twang. Hailey recommended the Hand-Dipped Onion Rings and they along with the Pretzels with Beer Cheese were the best I've ever had. Then we had the Cheesesteak, Pork Wing Basket (since they were understandably out of their homemade Pasties (which we will be back to try 😁)) & Boubon BBQ Burger. Everything we ate was even better than the last. Of course we had to finish with dessert. Two Hot Fudge Brownie Sundaes and a Peanut Butter Pie. The best brownies & ice cream, not to mention the homemade whipped cream all in a HUGE Bowl. The PB pie was delicious with a great oreo crust, topped with chocolate, Reece's Pieces, peanuts, peanut butter, and the same whipped cream. No words describe how awesome our experience was. Well worth the 5+ hour drive it would be if we weren't already in the area on vacation. This will bring us back to the UP!...
Read moreOn 8/9/25 Was passing by on our way to Taqaunamenon Falls and decided to stop by on our way back. Me and my wife were celebrating our honeymoon that weekend. Got in and got seated in about 5 mins. We sat at the front table top bar area. Server got our drink and food order. Quickly got our drinks. Saw mutuple tables that were cleared and sat with people that were in line behind us for a good 20-25 minutes. 3 tables got their drinks and food (we still didnt have our food yet.....a burger/fries and philly/fries (at this point it was a good 45 mins that we were there for.....a few minutes later our server patted my arm and said she would check on things because i think she overheard me questioning things with my wife. Few more minutes pass still hasnt came back or our food. She was bringing drinks to other tables. We got up and left at that point.....our meal should take 10 mins to cook and assemble at most and a little bit more for previous orders to be done. Was looking forward to eating there. Guess we'll offer Sault St Marie our business. I know it would have been $30 bucks or so.....but thats the first time we have ever just got up and left. I wish i could not rate the food as we didnt get a chance to taste it....the ice was cold in our drinks, so...
