The good: The beer and onion rings were very nice! The place itself was clean and had a great outdoor area. Seats were comfy, the music was a good mix, and food came relatively quickly. There was absolutely no wait to sit down for lunch, unlike literally everywhere else in Whitefish.
The not-so-good: It was lunch rush on the Saturday after the 4th of July and there were only two people working there-- the bartender and the cook -- so you had to be a bit assertive to get served, even though it was my family and one other for a total of seven people in the entire bar. There is not really anything on the menu that a vegetarian could eat, which is surprising in 2025. They kind of just had a "salad", which was a pile of chopped romaine lettuce with some french fried onions, four pickle slices, and two slices of tomato. Only dressing options were ranch and fry sauce. My family's burgers were just okay, definitely frozen pre-made, but one did not come with any of the fixings they asked about on it. The bartender was back in the kitchen for quite a while, to the point we had to kind of poke our head back in there for service. And everything was extremely overpriced for what we received and what was available in the area.
This seems like one of those places that could be really good if they made their own patties (I mean, come on, this is Montana, cattle country...), had a vegetarian option, and put in a little effort to offer stuff that other burger joints didn't have, and maybe had a little...
Read moreI really wanted this to be good because it’s close to my house, but the food was bad. My burger was cold, the bun was hard and it had nothing on it not even cheese, despite my ordering a cheeseburger. The french fries were undercooked. The food was better before the name changed. The beer is still good. Hopefully whoever is cooking the food now figures out the basics. The old menu had really good nachos, but those...

The staff is always welcoming, and there are great non-alcoholic options for the little ones. We especially enjoy the outdoor seating area, where everyone can unwind. It's the perfect spot for a laid-back outing that the whole...
