I’ll start by saying I’m aware that these restaurants aren’t known for their excellence but my dad loves to come and I’m happy to bring him when I see him during the holiday as the experience is usually decent and makes him happy. I rarely write any reviews but the disrespect from our server today inspired me to sit down and take the time out of my holiday week to do so. Our female server began by barely acknowledging our existence. We sat and had to then search for silverware. Server nowhere in site for ten minutes we started to search for someone who could help us find some forks so we could eat. We finally saw our server and she refused to come over to us forcing us to explain across the room that we didn’t have cutlery. She then purposely ignored us for the entirety of our meal and my dad had to go get the cutlery out of the basket himself. This is mostly fine as it is a buffet, but we at some point needed a drink refill after 30 minutes. We waited so long for her without her coming anywhere near our table we were forced to ask another employee bussing tables if they would mind helping us find her or with our drinks. This person obviously had other responsibilities and tried to help us but got caught up with their work so after ten more minutes we asked another waitress who refused to get the drinks but simply told us she would relay the message to our server. We finally see our server from across the room and we politely waved her down across the room (again) to let her know we needed drinks please. She came over, took plates from our table very impolitely telling us to hand her things, not asking if we could be helped (her job) and so I asked if we could please have two drinks. Long pause…. “Yeah you can?” Was her response. She left and we never saw her again. My father then walked to the drink station and proceeded to serve himself and myself our drinks. Several other tables were observed waiting for cutlery, being ignored, walking to the drink station to serve themselves drinks. Additionally, other customers were also being forced to bother the employee bussing tables who was very sweet and pleasant trying to help and do their own responsibilities. I felt bad for them as their coworker’s complete lack of work ethic, integrity, or basic pride in their work was baffling and a testament to how much they didn’t care even about their own coworkers. My father and I were polite, kind and respectful so this childish behavior was unwarranted and if I owned this establishment I would cut ties with any employee who treats their business and customers in a way that will surely reduce the value of the business over time. We did not leave a tip at the end and this is the first time either of us has made the decision to do so...
Read moreThe food wasn't all that. Someone didn't know how to flavor food correctly. The staff has a lot to learn about hospitality and knowing how to hustle. This staff also needs older motivated adults who are educated in the culinary world to run it better. Their should be no phone policy when you're running the front of the house and guest can see staff on their phones! Especially clearing tables is a must, checking drinks, When tables are already small... This was before the dinner rush. Also, food wasn't replenished correctly. It's the holidays!!!! The whole week, the game plan is to have backups, people are Christmas shopping, and they also wanna eat. The location is a busy location... I blame the GM for letting this happen. And management!!!! The one staff lady I spoke to was on her grind!!! A server, she was brown skinned, has long hair, always smiling, and she knew what she was doing. Hopefully, i gave enough description so yall can give that girl a raise!!! Go back to the schedule and see who was working the front of the house serving. It was on Friday around 430-5 pm. As soon as you walked into the restaurant, she was running the left side mostly, and I think the other side as well... next time, I'm asking for her, if their was more of her hired, then this place might have a better chance of being a good restaurant. And yes, I know you're probably understaffed, but to me, that's a poor excuse she did the job of two people. Anyway, a better game plan has to be put together with the management team so they can educate to eliminate these dinner rush better. No leadership, no restaurant!!!!!!!! Teaching the correct way is key. Hopefully, you will accept my self-criticism to make this place...
Read moreThe fried chicken and shrimp was delicious! Everything was hot and great tasting and the food was always being re-filled. And the tables and restaurant were always being cleaned. Will definitely be coming back!
UPDATED 6/13/25 - went back again did not get any new pictures and this time it was awful. 1st had a coupon it was not working so the girl would not do anything but said she would have a manger come over and never did. They advertise ribs and chicken tenders and there was almost no ribs out and no chicken tenders what so ever. Trays were not being filled and a lot were empty or almost empty. Did not realize there was no tenders until we were ready to leave I asked the manager wasn’t there supposed to be chicken tenders and she said yes and I said well there’s none out at all the whole time we were there and the cook ran back to make some but we were already getting ready to leave. When we were walking out the cook said we could take them home and I said don’t worry about it. It was a waste of money over $33 for crap and the food was horrible. Also our waitress never came over and asked if we needed a refill on our drinks we had to walk up to the drink station ourselves to ask for a refill. She was hiding at the refill station on her phone. Then later she was at the dessert section with about 6 other workers and the manager yelled at them that there was people waiting for over 10 minutes and they needed to get back to their stations.
Desserts were terrible. They had no cotton candy now they have ice cream that you have to dish yourself and they have gloves to wear but it was gross and dirty at the ice cream area.
