this is more of an individual review, that leads into an overall review of a dinner that happened on Monday June 16, 2024, between the hours of 8pm and 9pm. It was a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 teens. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the hostess, she sat us at a large booth, which was comfortable, our server was Marcus, which before we even got to the table, he was accosting us if we wanted bread to start off with. Upon seating us, the hostess took the extra place setting and utensils away. The first thing we noticed was that all of the utensils, that were on the table were badly water stained/spotted, almost as if the were not completely washed, like ran a rinse cycle and then had heat applied to dry because they were out and needed to set more tables. Upon noticing that, we asked for the manager “Adrianna” to come to our table, our server Marcus, took the drink order, then went and told her, as we watched him tell her we requested her to come to the table. Then bread came out, and the 2 slabs of butter that came with the bread baskets, were practically frozen and you couldn’t even shave anything off. Then we noticed we had no cloth napkins as all the tables around us did. Marcus came back to take our food order, and we told him, to which his action was to get us regular napkins, and for 5 people, only leave 3 at the table. We ordered our food (up until now still no manager), I ordered the Club, my partner ordered the orange chicken, our friend ordered the French dip burger (well done), one daughter ordered the bacon bacon burger (well done), and the other chicken Alfredo… the food comes out, but a food runner is bringing it to us not our server, which is fine, but not all at once but we still haven’t seen Adrianna. I had the most basic cannot screw up order, the club with fries…. My fries were cold, the club was ok. The orange chicken came out looking good and tasted good. The chicken Alfredo, she said she liked it..HOWEVER, the French dip burger was more of a medium rare/medium temp, and the bacon bacon burger while it was almost well, came out with ketchup pre dispensed on the bun, no where on the menu, and I triple checked, does it say that the burger is served with ketchup on it. We sent back the BB Burger, and again at this point still no Adrianna, which, seeing as we had a item sent back, Normal practice would be for a manager to bring out the new item, and make sure it’s ok. NEVER happened, no manager came by at all to check on the re cooked burger or even to ask how the meals were. Also, it’s important to know, Adrianna was watching our table as we could see her from the server station she was attempting to hide behind. So about this burger, the redo finally came out, just in time for everyone else to be done with their meals, and the teen girl, not be able to eat with everyone else.. we get the bill, and it’s over $200 for a server that was ok, he would do great at Olive Garden, and a manager, that refuses to speak to guests. I’m not even entirely sure the stance that TCF takes on when guests or better yet PAYING customers ask for a manger, and no one comes I know at any other establishment when you ask for a manager you atleast have one come by, even if it’s not the one you requested. I am not sure what clown school you hired Adrianna from, but she doesn’t need to be working at an establishment such as this one with as much presentation of class as Cheesecake Factory tries to have. If this were one of the mystery shops I had done in the past, I would have made sure to see that she was retrained on the floor on how to greet guests, and make sure that they had a good experience. Due to Adrianna and the poor experience that could have been better if she would have come to the table, I will not be back, and I will make sure that everyone I know, knows about this experience. Take my word, your money is better spent at elsewhere, you’ll have better food, clean utensils, and...
Read moreI can’t believe I’m even writing this !! Long review warning ‼️ To start this review I want to share that the Cheesecake Factory is one of my husband and I favorite restaurant. Before this location we drove to kop all the time to satisfy our cravings, not to mention we have visited this location day two of being open . We visited this location yesterday and had a reservation for 4pm we got there around 3:50 and didn’t get seated to about 4:22 at the table that was open since we arrived When we sat down we waited about 15 minutes before I asked a waitress where our server was. The couple that got seated two minutes before us got up and left which I have never seen at ccf!! The woman who I asked was our waitress so she came back to the table to get our order
If you know you know happy hour is from 4-6 So we had asked where the happy hour menu was She then proceeded to tell us happy hour menu is only available at the high tables. ( we have been going to CCF for 8years+ and have never heard that ) she then said she would go get a manager We are now 30 minutes seated at our table with no bread no drinks no water . The manger comes out not a hi ,how are you nothing just said our waitress Was confused and we are able to order from the happy hour menu and then goes to get it . We finally get our bread and it is HARD!! Didn’t fuss about it just let it be We then placed our order only to come and find out the Mac and cheese balls aren’t in the store so we couldn’t order them disclaimer (we only came for them , buffalo blast and our entrees and dessert) So we end up ordering something else We get our appetizers And they’re OK But we did not see our waitress To get condiments or refills I had to ask another Server!! Then we Order our entrées I proceeded to get the truffle chicken with the mash and asparagus ( I get the same thing every time we Go here) and hubs got the happy hour burger When I got my plate I was PISSED This meal is always fulfilling ! On this plate in front of me I got theeeee smallest two pieces of chicken breast to have everrrrrr be seen , my mash had HUGE pieces of potatoes and the asparagus was so unseasoned , steamed poorly , hardest things I have ever tasted !!! Hubs burger was just okay nothing special
I have never had the guts to complain about my food in a restaurant but I just couldn’t do it anymore I asked for a manger who did come and greet herself and Try to make it better. She offered to bring out new asparagus (which came out perfectly I ate it in seconds it was so gooood) and was offered a discount . This location needs to GET IT TOGETHER!!
The couple on the side of us drove an hour and a half for this location and a couple on the side of them was their first time here and both had bad experiences One of the ladies was still waiting for her food as her other friend was done eating. It’s a shame !! Because this is our favorite place we will be back but with service like this , this establishment won’t be getting returning clients so please do...
Read moreI would say the management was respectful and accommodating. Even though they only allow you to book for 6 ppl at a time. If you need a bigger party, the rest of the people in your party have to be walk-ins and arrive 2 hours early to ensure seating. The house manager was very kind and greeted us to ensure we were ready. Our server was great and knowledgeable of the dishes available. With that being said, please note overall we had a decent experience but we will not be going back.
Our food overall took way too long to serve we had reservations at 7 pm. We were seated around that time but didn't get our main entrées until close to 8:30. Our initial drinks took 15 minutes to arrive, appetizers took 30 minutes and our entrée was another 30 + minutes from that. I felt like they were back there slaughtering the animals. But when I got my food it didn't taste like it at all. I felt like it was a dish that I could have made at home. I got a combination dinner of steak and salmon. The lemon sauce on the salmon was sour and tasted like it was a powdered mix and added extra lemon juice. The fish was not fresh and the steak was not seasoned before being mixed into the gravy. My wife's food was not good enough that she didn't go "Babe, you wanna try this?" Which is code to me that she likes her food. She says that her sauce tastes as if it was store-bought. Bread is warm and soft but quickly hardened.
As for the facility, the restaurant is very small. And EXTREMELY CROWDED! The floor was slippery around the bar area and I almost slipped. (It could just be my shoes) The music was way too loud. Now I am hard of hearing. And I rarely hear the music. It is usually just soft enough that it becomes background noise and we are able to have a conversation. But I found myself unable to hear my wife or the waiter. My wife did ask our server if the music was loud, and we looked up to see that we were not too far from the radio speaker, just for the server to have admitted that it was at its normal behavior.
Now for the main thing... the Cheesecake. I had a salted caramel cheesecake which I really did enjoy. And my wife had the strawberry cheesecake and she said it was dry. We bought an extra strawberry cheesecake for our daughter who said the same thing.
Overall, I would say, we will not be going back. I would recommend everyone to try it at least once. If you get $150 plus tip to spare give it a shot. Being that it is a new restaurant (from a physical location) I'd imagine that it has to work out its kinks. Hopefully, your experience will be better. But honestly, there are better "mom-and-pop" shops that could cook the food with more flavor. I'd pay money for...
