On Saturday October 26th we placed an order for 20 chicken wings, a medium thin crust pepperoni pizza, 2 orders of poppers and an order of fried mushrooms. We asked them to bring hot sauce (which generally comes with the wings) and two sides of sweet chili sauce, along with some paper plates. This was a $34.50 order.Prior to ordering,
I called Happy's to ask about their specials. Employee B. Sterling answered the phone and I asked him what todays specials are? He stated that they are the same as they always are, then proceeded to give them to me. I asked him after if their specials ever change, and he stated yes. Then I asked him why he would make the remark that they are the same as they always are? He was already in an agitated mood just because a customer called to inquire about their specials. I told him we would decide and call back.
A few minutes later we called back to place our actual order shown above. The same employee answered the phone, again still agitated. He took the order I gave him above and said that it would be "an hour or so." We waited as we always do for Happy's delivery which can usually take 45 min to as much as 2 hrs.A little over an hour later, the delivery guy shows up with wings that already have the chili sauce on them and a regular crust pizza. These are both our main food dishes that we have already waited over an hour for. I called Happy's and luckily (I thought) I got another employee who seemed to be slightly more chipper. I told her the mishap and she placed me on hold. She (Arianna) came back to the line after a few minutes and stated that she could do one of two things. She could remake the order but it would be 2 hours before we would get our order and we could not eat the incorrect food they brought us. The second option is they would give us 10% off our next order. This was unbelievable to us as we had spent $35 and the majority of our order was wrong. Both options were like spitting in our face. Now we site hungry waiting and they never apologized.
Upon re-delivery, they still did not include hot sauce and the pizza was a normal crust cut differently...lol...this place...
Read moreBeen going here for years. And I will NEVER COME BACK. I paid $36 for bad food and horrible service. Drove over 30 minutes to get food from here today. We ordered 2 rib tip dinners and kindly requested them to not give up a bunch of pieces that were basically just fat like they did last time as we were giving them a last chance. They told us “we can’t just pick through the pieces for you.” Huh? Why are you okay serving MEAT TIPS that are mostly fat? Why are you okay serving low quality and then essentially admitting you have no quality control. And when we told her our last experience was not good and we wanted to make sure it was better she completely disregarded us as asked if thats all we wanted.. But we move on with the order anyway. We finally get there after fighting through traffic and we go to pick up the food. I asked if the special instructions were followed and everything and the woman who I know am being told is the owner Lisa, looked at me as if she was confused and annoyed and ask if I meant with the bbq sauce on the fries. I told her no.. we just don’t want a bunch of fat when I’m paying for rib tips. She repeated the same thing over the phone and insisted I had to look at them right then and there because a refund would be too hard for her should I want one later. ??????. I got home and the fries taste like they are freezer burned and been sitting in a horribly controlled freezer for 3 years. And the rib tips were barely had any sauce, dry and just not good. When I called to complain to the manager they told me I had to keep the food and drive back up there so ANOTHER HOUR DRIVE THERE AND BACK just for a refund. And said they “have new management so that’s just the way [they] do things”.The manager nor owner was CLEARLY not worried about losing customers or ensuring quality or good service to their customers. I have been a loyal customer for years and have never had an experience so bad at a restaurant that I had to leave a review. I placed an order online at 5:35. I received a confirmation email stating it would be approximately 50 minutes before I received my order. That was understandable. I then received a phone call at 5:36 from the location and a woman informed me that it was going to be an hour and 45 minutes before I received my order. She was calling to see if I still wanted it. And at the time I said I did. Several minutes passed and at 5:43 I called to cancel my order. The issue was that the woman then told me the order was already on the road out for delivery. When I heard this I decided not to cancel my order thinking the order shouldn't be that much longer. It was now 6:19 and I called again asking for the status of the order. The woman said it was still out to be delivered. I confirmed with her that was what I was told 36 minutes ago and asked if the order has been on the road for 36 minutes. Her response was rather quick and snappy and she said "it's actually been on the road for 37 minutes." At 6:45 I called back again, still haven't received the order. At this point the woman confirmed that it has been on the road for over an hour. She said she wasn't sure where the driver was or what was going on. However, she did say she was going to call the driver and try to figure out what was going on. She then took my number and said she would call me back. She called me back and said the delivery driver said I was his next stop. At 6:58 my order was finally delivered. The dough on the pizza was already lukewarm and rubbery. And the wings were barely warm. This was literally the worst service I have...
