Meh. The vibe here is off. You have to go to the bar to order the food and then wait with a buzzer to go back and pick the food up at the bar. I ordered the pulled pork nachos over fries. The bartender clarified if i wanted regular or spiral cut fries. I like spiral fries so opted for them. A pretty long wait and with my buzzer I go retrieve my food. So their take on spiral cut fries is actually potato chips. They then dump some juicy pulled pork over top thus making the chips soggy. Please for the love of all things great n glorious can you edit the menus to include a more accurate description?! I don't really like chips especially hard kettle cooked ones and would have never ordered this. They did make me a new meal and the regular cut fries were something more familiar. The pulled pork and sauce were lackluster. My friend order the boneless wings and they weren't as one would envision either. They just deboned chicken wings, but there were still tendons and such. They weren't breaded or anything. The perogies were soggy and cold which is a travesty as those are St John's church 'rogies smh Aside from the food the vibe was off, the music tired, the wait long, and we were all really cold with the garage doors open. 2/10 i doubt...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped in here on a Thursday afternoon with another couple after a few hours on the bike trails. Great choice! 1st time here for the 4 of us. What a nice establishment! Greeted by a gentleman Iâm assuming is an owner. Sat at a high top outside and it was lovely! Beautifully decorated with lots of tables, inside, outside and on the lawn, comfy couch and pet friendly as long as theyâre on a leash. Surprised at how fast the place filled up both inside and out. Reasonably priced. The guys had a flight each, found their favorite and indulged in more! Favorite was the Shut Up Bird. I had a pina colada slushie, but it was quite watery. Wouldnât order again. Small, basic menu, but suited us! We all enjoyed what we got. Hot dogs, ham and cheese sandwiches, pierogies and fries. Added bonus of self serve cups of water. Enjoyed our time there and we...
Read moreOur first visit to Hawk Mountain Brewery was opening day. The inside was pretty packed so we sat outside near the creek. (I think probably the best seats.) We made ourselves comfortable using the available seating and camp chairs that we brought with us. We had kids and a dog with us so this was the perfect spot. We enjoyed the various beer selection â from The Hawk to the Whitehall Wheat to the frozen slushies. We also had some food, both the hot roast beef sandwich and pierogies are delicious! We visited a second time and sat on the roomy deckâanother great spot to sit, chill, and sip some good beer and drinks. The staff are friendly and attentive. If you are looking for a place to relax and have a beer with family and friends while supporting a small business, I recommend checking out Hawk...
