Please read all the way to the end Yesterday upon pulling into the drive thru, the smart-mouthed young lady that took my order said, "I just saw you come into the drive-thru the wrong way. But I can take your order whenever you're ready". My daughter and I were so shocked that I had to say, "What did you just say?". She replied, "I said you just came into the drive-thru the wrong way; it's one-way. Anyway, I can take your order now". I did not say what I really wanted to say and just went ahead and placed my order. (I've learned not to upset people that work at restaurants as someone I know shared what they do to people's food when you get on their bad sides). After I got my order and was on my way out of the parking lot, I saw another customer enter the drive-thru the same way I did. I was curious to see if they said the same thing to the next customer. They did not. The customer after me was a white male. I am a black female. Was that the reason they felt comfortable enough to say it to me? You decide.
*Note to Management: Please train your employees to strive for the highest level of customer service possible for EVERY customer. Their smart-mouthed comments are not necessary and customers leave the restaurant with nonpositive feelings.
Updated Review: Rating changed from 2 stars to 5. So after posting this review, I called the restaurant to speak to a manager about what the young lady said to me. The manager was so awesome! She apologized to me and said that the comment should definitely not been said in that way. She was sweet, funny and said she would address the employee about best customer service practices. Thank you Manager Brie. You are an asset to...
Read moreWe loved this location until tonight. My best advice? DO NOT leave your food at your table to use the restroom before leaving the store. I had the most uncomfortable experience here and it prompted me to question their employee meal compensation plan. If a worker has to remove my son's food from a kids meal bag and open the Styrofoam tray to see if there is anything left in it before throwing it away - something isn't right. I would've kept the food had I not saw her hands inside the tray and also if I didn't see her cleaning the bathrooms immediately prior. Their policy is for customers to leave the property before any cleaning of their table(s) occurs. We were in the bathroom no more than two, MAYBE three minutes. I ended up buying him another kids meal considering he didn't touch his fingers yet and had a good remainder of fries left.
Update - I spoke with Ryan, the location's manager on January 11 in regards to this incident. He stated that he would check the cameras and get back with me around 5PM that day. He also asked for my email address. I never heard back from him. I gave a call back Saturday afternoon and a gentleman named Dakota told me that Ryan would be in after 4PM and to give a call back then. I called much later and spoke with him. He said he could not tell what happened from the camera angle, but "knows for a fact that it isn't something the employee would do." I asked if he was calling me a liar and he said no, to which I educated him on his choice in terminology. I told him I would be contacting corporate again, and he...

I asked for no ice—because that usually means I want more of the drink, not to get half a cup like I ordered a sample. Apparently at Cane’s, if you skip the ice, they just take that as a tip for themselves and short you.
Then let’s talk about the fries. I ordered a 3-piece combo and got a portion so small, it could fit in my 5-year-old’s hand with room to spare. I paid for a meal, not a handful of crumbs. That’s not a mistake—that’s theft wrapped in a paper tray.
And just when I thought it couldn’t get more careless? Y’all didn’t even include straws. How do you hand someone a drink—with no straw? That’s just lazy and disrespectful.
Fast food isn’t cheap anymore. I work hard for my money, and what I got in return was a slap in the face. Meanwhile, Chick-fil-A and Popeyes never pull these stingy, sloppy stunts.
You’ve officially lost a customer. This was greedy, careless, and...
