I recently had a thoroughly disappointing experience with Domino's Pizza that I feel compelled to share. I really like to give recognition to companies and employees that provide good customer service and always try do so. I will occasionally share my bad experiences. However, I wanted to share this poor experience. I ordered a pizza that was overwhelmingly greasy and slathered with an excessive amount of Alfredo sauce. The crust was mushy, making it completely inedible for my kids, who ended up having to settle for garlic knots instead.
When I called to complain, the response was, well there was no response. I waited a good awkwardly 10 seconds after expressing my reasoning for calling before I had to ask if they were still there just to get an uncountable long “yyyeeeaaahhh”. Followed by more silence. Leaving it up to me to lead the rest of the conversation. The person who answered seemed very uninterested. In the end I was told I could bring the pizza in for a replacement, otherwise they can’t do nothing els for me and left it at that. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was directed to call back the next morning. The follow-up calls were equally if not more frustrating. The Conversations with the "managers" were stilted and unhelpful, leaving me with no clear resolution or apology. The lady I spoke with the next day who was the manager, got on the phone saying “hello” when asked if I was speaking to a manager her response was “um yeeeaahhhhhhh”…It was so awkward that I felt like it was a joke.
Ultimately, I decided to stop pursuing the issue because it became clear that Domino's had no intention of addressing the problem WHAT SO EVER telling me to keep trying back the next day to speak to someone els because they have no idea how to help me… HuH???. My experience was marred by poor communication and a lack of customer care. Based on this experience, I won't be ordering from Domino's again it completely turned me and my friend away after experiencing that.. I tipped the driver very well also, so there was in my opinion no reason to treat me like I was someone trying to get over on them for ONE pizza out of the 5 I ordered. I just wanted to not feel like my money was not waisted. I usually just let things like this go but I wanted to say something this time because it did really stink that the kids pizza was no good at all.. . Read moreI normally order from this Domino’s very often and the last two times I ordered and viewed my tracker my order was set at Quality check for a hour or better. I understand their excuse it “one delivery guy”. You would think if they stay this busy they would have more then one delivery guy available. The last time I called a girl named Brittany, if that’s even her name, bc she refused to give me her name being we had to call back bc when we called in regards to our order arriving cold like the last order she hung up. Then upon requesting to speak with her Supervisor she placed us on hold for 6 minutes and still didn’t not come back to the phone with the Supervisor who she said is Ikem or Ikee, if I’m not mistaken. This is terrible service, I’m pretty sure if the boss was there then the conversation would have went differently. Read moreRepeatedly had pizzas delivered to our home for yrs. May 2019 the manager claims they don't deliver to us. We have them on Security Cam parked in my driveway! So we call Corp they call back & say yes we do deliver there, offered us 2free pizzas. Next day we order big meal w/free pizza. They come we give big tip as always. Same week we order again, Manager claims they dont come to our home. We call Corp again, they haven't called back. Still owe us a free pizza. The manager even says Yes I know u got a meal w/free pizza last week delivered. Ok so why aren't u coming now? She says Because we don't come that far. Drivers even say we are nice, big tips, respectful. We done nothing wrong. The Domino's in Whiteville NC is a Lazy Joke!! Manager named Taylor straight lied was Rude, Nasty attitude! & Corp called her out on it. They are losing good money here because our neighborhood orders big meals separate & together for parties.
