If I could do 0 stars I would. Worst experience in my entire life when it comes to eating out. Me and my family ate here today. We were seated right away then 10 mins later and 2 other tables seatedz first off the other tables had their food before ours. Second got our food, husband ordered the bbq brisket sandwich me country fried steak. Husband didn’t eat the brisket cause all it was is fat and bread was gross he said, the country fried steak I took one bite and explained it tastes rotten. The manager came out and apologized we explained she agreed as she did look at the food herself and said she spoke to the cook. So she did take them off the bill. Okay skip to where I really get upset now after having a horrible time I go to pay and they decided to think we wouldn’t notice that they kept 10$ of our change? After we already tipped on the table had to go back in forth with the staff to get the manager for almost 45 mins just to get it resolved will not be returning. To make matters worse are friends had their own check and when paying with a card they added another 7$ tip to their bill! So check your change and your cards. Because they like to take extra after already being tipped! And then told them they didn’t do that after showing them the bank transaction and the bill not matching! Read moreThis was by far the worst experience I’ve had here. The customer service was awful, and the restaurant was severely lacking proper management.
Upon arrival, the hostess immediately informed us that they were short-staffed and only handling 6-10 tables, meaning a wait time of at least 30 minutes. We decided to wait at the bar, where we were met with an unpleasant experience. The bartender, Dell, gave us a bothered look and had a terrible attitude. He appeared stressed, never smiled, and repeatedly emphasized that he had other customers to serve before us. Surprisingly, the bar was not busy, yet the customers who were there seemed just as frustrated. It was clear that the bartender was struggling to keep up, and service was extremely slow.
When we were finally seated, our waitress was friendly and did her best to improve our experience. However, we couldn’t help but notice that the manager, Tami, made no effort to assist the overwhelmed staff. She didn’t check on tables, offer customer service, or help the frazzled bartender. Her lack of involvement was disappointing.
To top it off, the food was mediocre at best. Given that this restaurant is one of the few dining options available for guests, the overall experience was even more disheartening. It first took us a while to get sat, then our server China, didn’t bring us any waters, took forever when it came to literally anything. Our food took forever to come out, which the food was good, it was just all our server. And I am a server so I’m usually pretty lenient, since I know how it is. But it was just starting to be slow when we got there. Anyways, china never came to check up on us and ask if the food was good, when she finally came around and asked if we wanted more coffee it took her forever to come back with it, after we were done eating, we were trying to find her but couldn’t, she finally brought the check after probably a good 20 mins. As we were leaving, we saw her at the bar chatting away, and it made us think she was doing that the whole time instead of caring about any of her tables. She had no sense of urgency.
