I found it somewhat difficult to rate this park. There were some things that they had no control over such as my next door neighbor slamming doors at 5:30 in the morning. Other things such as the neighbor across the street (long term resident) having his car up on stands while he works on it is a clear violation of their rules. Nobody told him to stop even though security came by several times. The garbage truck emptying the dumpsters at 6:30 in the morning is not necessary. You have to drive over a high curb to get into your site. These things the park does have control over. Not so sure about the park electrical voltage. My surge protector kept me from using electric for the first 24 hours. The park voltage was 135 volts. After calls to Chris (park manager), he said that we were the first row where the power came into the park and the city told them there was nothing they could do. He offered to move us to another site but our schedule didn't allow us to take the time. The park is in the middle of the city so traffic and emergency vehicle noises were expected. This park wouldn't have been our first choice because we like to be in a more rural environment but it was NASCAR weekend (we didn't know that when we were making reservations) so we couldn't be too selective. All in all the park is (relatively) close to things in the city but you sacrifice some things. We never felt uncomfortable with our surroundings and never saw strangers that...
Read moreWe stayed here for a month in January/February and had a great stay. We had a good spot right by pool and laundry. Full hookups, no issues with them. Spot was level and easy to park and set up (rock/gravel pads). The north end of the park is NOT fully gated, it has on entrance that is gated and one that is not. But the rest of the park is fenced. It is in the city so expect street traffic and air traffic sounds throughout the day and night (I don't mind this, but I know others really do.) 4 separate fenced dog runs. Clean and heated pool with hottub. Clean laundry and bathroom facilities (showers were warmish by us, but did not get hot enough to my liking so I always used the shower in our 5th wheel). There are 2 separate shower/bathroom buildings in the north end of the park, I never checked the 2nd one further away from our site. Very easy, very short walk over to Sam's Town where there is gambling and dining, and a movie theatre and bowling alley as well over there. We would book here again if we end up back in...
Read moreOverall good experience. They allow dogs and hook ups all worked great. Also a nice fenced in space for dogs to run off leash. Internet is absolutely terrible though, and “nothing they can do about it.” The workers are quirky but happy to help. Met some friendly fellow travelers there too. Their set up is a bit different with having two locations. You have to go to the main office at Sam’s town casino to check in and pay even if you’re staying at their Nellis location. Both locations are about 15 minutes from either the strip or Fremont street. 4 stars due to the bathroom and laundry. It’s a regular camp bathroom so don’t expect much. Only the middle shower worked in the men’s restroom. The other two either had no head or seemed only connected to the hot water. Hot water tank ran out fast. they do clean every day though. Lastly the washers and dryers take quarters only ($1.75 per wash/dry) and there is no coin exchange machine at the Nellis location but the front desk can...
