Leo's Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Whitpain Township

TLDR the food was good, delivery time was good. If you have allergies be careful and check your food.

Ordered delivery. Delivery time was great food came hot no complaints there. Garlic knots were decent and not oily. I ordered a Turkey Club wrap with no tomato due to an allergy, the box said Turkey Club wrap no tomato but luckily I checked because there was in fact tomato in the wrap and not just 1 piece. Unfortunately I could not try it because of this. The fries are very good they're nice and thick. Philly Cheesesteak was decent, had good flavor. Mexican wrap was good, not messy or soggy which was a nice surprise. Boneless wings were great quality, got the Teryaki which had very nice flavor. It was a new one for me to order cheese fries and get regular fries with 1 small cup of cheese on the side to dip them in. I'm not sure I can really say if I prefer that to the fries being smothered in cheese like...

I ordered a pizza tonight - half pepperoni, half onion. I pick up the pizza and I was charged $2.50 for both 1/2 toppings. I teach math, so I kinda internally rolled my eyes...I pointed out the mistake to the cashier and she informed me that that was their policy. $2.50 means nothing to me, but being charged $5 for a pizza that costs like $17 is insane. Also - onions? C'mon. You put $.25 worth of onions on that pizza. Out of principle, I will never go back - I highly recommend Pennlyn Pizza. I think their pizza is a tad better and they don't pull that BS about charging twice for 2 1/2 toppings. What a stupid policy, and so bad...

They were originally a 5, but the most recent meal was terrible. The Reuben was overcooked to the where the sandwich was almost ash and the roast beef on the stale hoagie roll did not taste fresh.

If someone from the restaurant had reached out to me after doing their internal review, I wouldn’t be editing the review.

Overall the place is a 3 now. The pickup was on a Sunday evening and every meal isn’t going to be perfect but I think it’s time to go to other pizza places for a while.
