I was out looking for some street tacos and trying to find a place I've never been and I came across this little gem. It's a tiny hole in the wall restaurant and when you walk in you immediately know your going to like the food because the aroma is amazing. I ordered some street tacos, and a torta both asada. I came to pick it up it was very crowded (exactly what you want to see)waited in line and when I got to the counter they asked me if I wanted hot or mild sauce. I have an affinity for spicy food so I said ya give me two. The lady kinda looked at me with a strange look then turned and said something in spanish to her coworker and they chuckled and I thought to myself oh no what did I just do this stuff must be lava hot lol. Well I paid and took my food to my car and opened it up to eat. The meat was perfectly season and cooked just right. Lots of onions and cilantro and lime. I put a little hot sauce on my taco and took a bite. I was immediately rewarded with the tastiest savory hot sauce I've ever had. The flavor of this red liquid just blew me away. It was hot but so worth...
Read moreThere are 6 tables that seat 4 people each, small but cozy. They move quickly and get your food to you quickly. You can stay and dine in or take to-go. Perfect for quick or laid-back breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I judge mexican restaurants based on the tortilla quality and flavor. The tortillas are 5 out of 5 stars, absolutely delicious, authentic, not bland, not plastic, and definitely not fake from Walmart. Based on just tortillas alone, we will come back. The burritos are a great size. My husband didn't know if he could finish the burrito, but he didn't want to put it down; he ate every last bite. As for me, I was craving street tacos, and they delivered. I know it's breakfast time, but they serve them anyway. I ordered the shredded chicken, shredded beef, and barbacoa, all delicious. I finished my tacos. I was full after one taco, but I couldn't resist. The complimentary salsa and chips were so good. Then the bottles, the green and red, for our plates of food, we're also pretty good. Great little spot for all times of the day. Can't wait to come back...
Read moreI come here at least 5x/month! Went from my favorite place and recommending them to everyone to not-so-much being my favorite anymore and no longer recommending!
Gotta ask first light beans because they pack the burrito so damn full of beans that it’s just MUSH in a SOGGY tortilla. When I ask for barbacoa, I don’t want a 2lb bean burrito with a little barbacoa sprinkled along the side of it. I wanted a MEAT burrito with beans. HUGE DIFFERENCE. Today I ordered THREE barbacoa burritos with LIGHT beans so it WOULDNT be MUSH. But here we are with almost $FORTY DOLLARS$ worth of MUSHY TRASH. Literally looks and has the mushy consistency like someone already sh-t it out and then wrapped it up. And one of the THREE trash burritos, when a bit was taken out, there was so much FAT in the barbacoa that ONE chewy-ahhh BITE took the entirety of the WEE LIL BIT of meat fully off that MUSH wrap.
Very disappointing. Very...
