February 5, 2024. I paid $147.35 to send a computer Printer to Dallas and back for repair. $79 was for just the Packing. FEDEX DAMAGED the Printer on the way TO Dallas. RO Company wants the ink to remain in the printer for testing. I sent the Printer to Epson in California once for Warranty with ink inside. You cannot empty the ink. It shipped All OK then. I Never insured it since no concern for damage. RO called me upon receiving it. FEDEX broke the scanner and ink holder. I called FEDEX Claims who promised to process the claim by me going back to Connect Packaging to write the Claim.
March 5, I went there with my receipt and story of what happened. I told Kim who wanted PHOTOS of the damage. FEDEX Claims did not tell me that. I did not have photos but RO could Testify to the Damage. She promised to do a claim. I Never heard back from Kim SO May 17, I calledš±her. She DOES NOT file FEDEX Claims with them. She uses a 3rd party Claims place WHO REQUIRES a photo of the Damaged item to get the Claim approved. She refused to do my Claim with FEDEX. I called FEDEX back May 17.
They DIDšš„³ššš My Claim over the phone and May 20 sent me an email to have it processed by 14 days. They even wanted me to get reimbursed for the Printer. I said NO. I bought a new one at Office Depot $200 and sent by UPS safely to me from Dallas Warehouse with very little packaging inside the box.š¦
All I want is my $147.35. I ran auto parts stores for 18 years. Rule #1: Treat the Customer Well. I gave Customers another part even when 6 months out of warranty such as a starter.

There was a younger woman and I believe other worker was the owner. Keep in mind, I will say im not used to delivering packages; however, we were verbally communicating that I need it to come back to me. I asked if it could be sent to my location, but they informed me that it has to get sent back to connect shipping.
I then state can they call me once it comes back to them. They said yes, your number is in your account info. Great! Didnāt hear back from them for a couple weeks. I call up at comptrollers to see if they received and signed my application. They did and said they sent it back to connect shipping. So, I call up connect shipping and they inform me they do not have the package. The owner, I believe, said I only paid for a one way shipping and I shouldāve checked my receipt. Idk how someone mistakes a one way trip when Iāve reiterated I needed it to come back to me. Why would you call me to let me know the package will come back if youāre only charging me for a one way ticket.
I call comptroller and they said even if it was a one way shipping, they would stamp it and send it back. the application is lost and I had to redo it. Will not return. Simple instructions but you try to blame it on me for not looking at receipt when you should know what your customer is ordering. I didnāt mumble. I reiterated it many times. It was Friday and I was looking for a courier / delivery service to help me transport a large number of boxes and materials from one location to another for Monday morning meeting. I found that Wichita Falls is a small town and there are no courier services since everything is close by. I happened to find Connect Pack and Ship. I spoke with Kim. She said they don't usually do the kind of courier service I needed, but they could make an exception. I think she could sense the anxiety and desperation in my voice. Kim was so kind and helpful. She answered all of my questions quickly and set up a solution for me for an early Monday morning pickup. It turns out our business meeting got cancelled the very next day. I was able to call Connect Packing and Shipping early Monday AM as soon as they opened. Savannah was kind and said she would quickly get the message to Kim. When we were back in Dallas, I followed up with Kim re any cancellation fee. Kim said since we were able to cancel before anything had been done, we didn't owe a thing. You just don't run across a business anymore that would do that - make a special exception to help us because we had a need and there was no one else to do it.
