So I went here for my uncles birthday and first I will say there was a guy who had tattoos on his arms I wish I remembered his name he was working on the 23rd Oct 2023 ..he was absolutely outstanding and is the reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 ..really outstanding service ...but why the 2 stars? Well myself and my nephew ordered t-bone steaks and it was absolutely the worst steaks I have ever even seen ..I mean the steaks was the same thickness as what you would use to make jerky but then also ran over by a truck ..I could not believe they served steaks that flat ..like comical flat ..and if your going to serve steaks that flat at least have them be good but nope ...I would say there was maybe 1 or 2oz of edible meat the rest was fat/grissel.. and I understand it's ihop not a steak house, but dang, come on, the steaks were not edible, really, and I ended up just taking it home to give to my dogs, both mine and my nephews ...now my younger nephew had the breakfast sampler and said it was great and it did looked good ..so if you go to ihop stick to the breakfast ONLY ...everything not breakfast we ordered was dreadful ..cheese stick appetizers was awful..steaks awful... ..the steaks was so bad I am giving 2 stars despite having great service and good breakfast food ...will I go there again? Yes but I know to only order breakfast ..trust me and do the same
TLDR ... great service .. good breakfast food only ...order anything, not breakfast, and...
Read moreWent in for a late breakfast today with a family member. We have the pancakes eggs and bacon. After two bites of my pancakes I realize I had a long golden blonde hair as long as my plate across my food. We immediately stop the next person we saw with a uniform on. As I was trying to take the picture and explain the young man grab the plate for my hand and rush to the back. He quickly came back with another plate. As I started to eat it I quickly realized the pancakes were raw. Aggravated and discussed it from what I just experienced. I asked to speak to a manager. To my surprise it was the young man that took the hair away in the first place. As he stood there with a receipt in his hand. He rudely asked me what it was I would like to do about it. I reminded him that he saw the long hair in my plate and that was a Health hazard and disgusting and no one should be cooking in the back without hair net. We went back and forth as he said he doesn't remember how much of it we ate as if that matter. He said to me he can ball up the receipt and we can forget about it. So I said to him we will not forget about it you would give me my pancakes to go and we will not be paying for hair. Caution IHOP on 10th Street and broad. As we were waiting for the second plate we saw the cook walk out with curly long hair shabby was just a cap on. This was disgusting we left hungry with stomach aches. IHOP...
Read moreOrdered online and it was ready when I drove the 2 1/2 miles to walk in and take it back home. Glad the IHOP is back open on Broad Street after the ceiling fell from too much rain about 6 months ago. UPDATE: IHOP has a reward program and as long as you were active using it, your coins (what they call their system credits) didn't expire. That is changing in that the coins you accumulate will now expire I think it is going to be 6 months after earning them. With this change, I will most likely lose some of my coins because of only be able to use coins once a day. There are very limited options for using the coins and only being able to use them once a day means using all of them will most likely fall short. The maximum number of coins you can use in a day is 30. They assign a certain number of coins for each option they allow: 30 coins for a combination breakfast platter and it goes down from there. There are only around a dozen items on the list of available items that can be purchased with reward coins. I understand that change is necessary, but they should have paused the limitations of only once a day and only one...
