Doc Green's Salads and Grill — Restaurant in Wichita

I want to say first I enjoy doc greens and the food tastes good. I ordered a salad called rosin rosin and I added BBQ chicken to it. This salad had the smallest amount of lettuce I've ever seen. I had so much chicken once I ate every single vegetable and salad it was basically a full container of BBQ chicken. There was just a big stack of cucumbers in the middle, had blue cheese and tomatoes I hardly tasted any at all. Very disappointed in the salad overall. Nothing was expired or anything that's the positive note, it was hard to get through due to eating a chicken salad with a sprinkling of veggies. I enjoyed the chicken by itself and the salad taste of everything it was just crazy portions of stuff not like how it normally comes I've never had a salad like this one. I got a bowl of the tortilla chicken soup ..this was just condensed canned soup that did not have any water added to it. The texture was a thick queso and it tastes like a salty cheese dip. No tortillas in the soup, really nothing but thick cheese substance and spicy flavoring no real seasoning. I added about two water bottles to the concentrate and it finally watered out to what a soup consistency should be. still had strong flavor so I am assuming someone was not told to add water to the concentrated soup and mistakes happen but wow sodium! It was shocking to try it as it was the first time I had ordered their soup so I didn't know what to expect. Imagine a chowder with a thickening agent lol but when I thinned it out I thought it tasted similar to Campbell's quality nothing to pay $6 per bowl over!! Not the worst thing I've tasted after doctoring...turkey sandwich was smoked turkey, did not taste like it was smoked. Nothing special really no flavor at all. Ordered a side of mashed potatoes and instead got mushrooms?? Just a bowl of mushrooms lol they were obviously canned reheated as well and I'm wondering..it can't be that much more difficult to cook your own mushrooms? More importantly why did I get mushrooms instead of white cheddar mashed potatoes..?? No idea. The wait time was exceptionally long. Wasn't a good experience so won't return to this location definitely needs some more staff training and probably some more employees...

I ordered my lunch at 11:39 am to be ready ASAP, but by 12:05 pm. I got to the restaurant at 11:58 because I figured my salad would be done rather quickly as it was sans meat. I entered the restaurant that had a very long line and quite a few people at the pick up shelf area. I went that direction to find my meal and didn’t see it so I got out of the way for a few minutes as there were others around me. I walked back up to the counter when I was able to and proceeded to wait for 10 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement from any staff member until I was able to catch a falling plastic bag midair. That garnered a “thank you” from the lazy, dark, curly haired girl who was just on the phone talking and walking in circles. I finally spoke up and asked about my meal and was told very rudely that there were a ton of orders before mine (untrue) and I could be patient. I told the manager, whom was speaking to me this way, with the mundane, generic white boy forest tattooed around his forearm, that they have the worst customer service ever. He told me, “if you don’t like it, you can leave.” “I paid for my salad so I’d like to get my meal.” “Well are you going to stand there and argue with me or let me go grab it?” Came back from the used up and spit out manager with whom I had the displeasure of conversing with. He then went and grabbed my already made about 10 minutes ago salad and basically threw it in a bag and at me. I might add that the lady standing next to me was waiting on her 4 meal order that she had placed AT the counter before I even got there. The employees were dropping and losing tickets everywhere, ignoring the fact that they had jobs to do, moving slower that old people screw. There is absolutely NO hustle or urgency in their work and that definitely shows to the customer. I worked as a server for 8 years, so I know how a restaurant should be run - I have never seen such a poorly executed “team” or place of work in my life. Went there today for lunch. The girl working the cash register was very rude, she had a bad attitude like she didn't want to be there. When we came to the register to pay we told her that we had an extra ticket and she ignored us and continued to enter in the extra salad. After we told her for the third time that we only had three salads and not four. She finally changed it on the register we paid. As soon as we were finished paying the first salad was ready to go. We went outside to sit down to wait for the other two salads. When the second salad came the same girl at the register brought it out to us and again she acted like she was inconvenienced to have to come out there. She pretty much through the plate on the table and then just turned around and walked off. It made us feel like we did something we shouldn't have. It was just a very hostile feeling. And after all that they didn't even make the 3rd salad because that was the extra ticket we had at the register that was supposed to go to the people making the salads. Instead the girl working the cash register threw it away. So when I went in to check on the third salad they hadn't even made it. Yet when I got that salad the girl again at the register was the one who brought it to me. She said nothing to me and turned around and just walked off after giving it to me. The food was really good but I was very disappointed in the customer service of the girl running the cash register. Just...
