Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Wichita

Out of the trash pizza franchises, I usually eat Pizza Hut and occasionally Papa John's or Murphy's (I probably should have gone with one of them this time) but I'm tired of my nearest Pizza Hut messing up our orders or shorting us/forgetting things.

I wanted to try something different, with fingers crossed they'd make food satisfactory to my wildly pregnant taste buds. I tried Domino's Pizza once when I was younger & was disappointed so I haven't eaten their pizza again in over two decades... until yesterday.

As a result...it will be another two decades or longer before I even think about eating anything from Domino's Pizza again. One pizza was sloppy and way too cheesy (I didn't order extra cheese) plus wasn't sliced properly. The cheese & veggies were falling off the bread. The other pizza, pepperoni joint, seemed overbaked, so much so that there was barely an inkling of sauce (and we love pizza sauce in this house!) I didn't order it with extra sauce but it definitely didn't even have enough sauce for a standard pizza so it was dry, thin and got cold really fast. Their oven-baked dips or whatever they are called...ours tasted good because of the marinara and we ended up using that on the dry pizza slices to make up for where their cooks so obviously lacked. However, there was way more cheese than marinara, so no balance and their dips are barely dips at all! It's like they make you a little bit of dip and pour it on a small paper plate that "looks" like a small bowl. So, essentially you're not even dipping anything, you're scraping because they're not filling it adequately, just covering the bottom of a flat surface. Laughable at best but disappointing and not surprising. Especially for their prices!

In conclusion, I'm still very unimpressed and still hold my stance. I will never recommend Domino's Pizza to anyone who likes pizza, even trash pizza. They just don't measure up in any way....

I am an ex-employee of this pizza chain so I know what the policies and procedures for customer are. I ordered online and was told via their order tracker that driver KATIE had the order. Order was supposed to be delivered at 9:18, waited til the app said 930. Called manager PAUL at the store he said there was a mixup and would recieve a discount but that nobody had the order. I am a diabetic and id already taken ny insulin and id informed the manager of that information. He then called back about 15 minutes later after telling me my order would be to my house in 20 minutes. Keep in mind DRIVER CONFIRM ORDERS before leaving the stores via order number so if the driver didn't take it the order wouldn't be assigned to a driver. I calmly explained as an ex employee when it is the stores fault they typically either give half off current order, current order free or free next order up to the same amount of current order. He said you're only getting 6 bucks off I said that was unacceptable bc of his tone having to wait over an hour and it being the stores fault not mine (such as wrong address) then he proceeded to say I'll just cancel the order and hung up on me. I have been a customer for years. I place delivery orders often. I always tip my driver. Have never had an issue until now. My order was incorrect and when I contacted the store, the person who answered was friendly and offered to fix my order. In the middle of that conversation, another employee got on the phone and said "we can only fix the pizza if you return the other pizza." I explained that I had no problems doing that because I would rather have the correct pizza that I ordered and paid for but there was 2 pieces missing from it because my daughter ate them and that's when she told me that it didn't have chicken on it. I was then told they they weren't going to fix it then. I told that person that I would go ahead and contact corporate because it was their mistake and them refusing to fix it wasn't okay. I was then told "have fun with that" and hung up on. I was not being rude or difficult. I didn't want a free pizza, I wanted the correct pizza with the toppings that I paid for.
