Spangles — Restaurant in Wichita

I was just in there tonight. I need the GM to contact me immediately or I'll be going to Miss Stevens. Your crew made quite a few customers upset tonight. They were in such a hurry to get out of there instead of serving the customers that had already paid for their stuff. I worked in the food industry for over ten years. There was absolutely NO REASON why your crew couldn't get the customers their refills. They were unprofessional, unkind and inconsiderate. There was a senior couple they had really upset all the poor man wanted was his diet Dr pepper he paid for. I needed my refill so I could take my nightly medication. You LITERALLY just have to turn the key on the side of the machine and put the knob on. Never in my 10 years of service would I deny a customer their drink. THEN, your manager on duty had the nerve to say "sorry the crew is just teenagers" instead of being professional and getting us our drinks. Now I wasn't the one yelling at your crew so I would like to communicate about this matter. Your fries were stale and gross too. Please email me ASAP or I'll be taking it up...

They pay more to their employees. And that is the big difference compared to other fast foods in town. Food is well done compared to a similar sized franchises. Burgers are better than restaurants in general. Prices are less than both the main chains like McDonald's... and better than Ruby Tuesday's. The 50's schtick is fine so not the best but thoughtful. Customer service is top notch due to the BKs don't pay as much,... and you get the worst customer service... at least at some of those BK franchisees in Wichita. Each Spangles tastes as good as the next one. McDonald's... shoot! I can tell you some of the great, the bads, and the uglies. Some don't like their burger's flavor but I do... French fries... meh... Alright. BTW the other big 3 names your Customer service is vastly inconsistent. Don't get me started on West Street Burger King. Turrible! Eat at Spangkes...

Saw a few of these restaurants in the Wichita area. I'm always interested in local chain burger places. This one was conveniently near other stores I needed to run errands at. So I stopped for lunch.

Ordered the mushroom Swiss double burger on sourdough meal.

Sat down and did not have to wait long. The man behind the counter brought the order out to my table. Asked if there was anything else I needed..

Food was great. Fries were so hot you could not touch them. That fresh out of the fryer. Piping hot.

Another woman who worked there passed by. Asked if all was okay. Super friendly.

That means two employees there wanted to be sure my dining experience was excellent.

Impressive.

Good quality was great. I wish the portion size was a little larger. But it is not a complaint.
